The negative review(s?) contained on this site are referencing an incident and misunderstanding at my house. By mistake, I left some home improvement debris near my trash. It was my intention to haul this away to the landfill in a day or so. There was a confrontation/incident between the trash disposal company and the contractors concerning WHO placed the excess trash in front of my driveway. I must say there was only the contractors and the truck driver at the scene. Heated words aside, it was merely a mistake. JLJ came highly recommended and they have consistently delivered. They have always been respectful to us, as Robby believes his rep is more important than his money earned. I continue to support JLJ and Quality as professional workers, but I'm sad about the incident. Nevertheless, give JLJ a call. They are top notch! My honest opinion!

I asked him to itemize the estimate, and what he presented to me was quite general and not very professional. That should have been the indicator I needed to look elsewhere, but we were in a hurry, so we hired them. They ripped out two kind of perennials from our flower beds and mulched over the bare spots; they didn't trim the hedges they said they would; and they put a bunch of mulch down where we didn't want mulch. When we objected to paying the full amount for such shoddy work, they finally offered to discount the price by $200, but were generally belligerent about it. Please save yourself and find a different landscaper.
