I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience with HD physical Medicine Stine Chiropractic. After a recent motor vehicle accident, I was referred here for treatment. During my initial visit, I left feeling hopeful. The office was comfortable, the treatment rooms were warm, and I was led to believe that my neck-related concerns from the accident could be evaluated and addressed. Unfortunately, my experience changed significantly at my follow-up visit. The roller bed treatment aggravated my symptoms and caused a significant pain flare, so I declined to use it again. When I discussed my ongoing neck and head pain from the accident, I was told that because I have an open Workers' Compensation claim related to CRPS, they could not treat my neck at all. This was very confusing because it contradicted what I understood from my first appointment. Dr. Ryan Falcias interrupted me as I was seeking clarification of treatment plan. I explained that I was seeking help for injuries from a separate motor vehicle accident, but I was told the only treatment they could offer was massage therapy. When I asked about CRPS, I was told they would need to check whether the massage therapist was familiar with the condition. That response left me with little confidence that the office was equipped to manage a patient with my medical history. The most disappointing part was the inconsistency between what I was told during my first visit and what I was told during my third visit. I made a good-faith effort to participate in treatment, but the roller bed worsened my symptoms, and I ultimately left feeling that my concerns were not being addressed. While others may have different experiences, this provider was not a good fit for me because I'm apparently being discriminated against for having CRPS in right side even though I'm here to treat the left side. Instead of making me feel better, they made me feel worse. They let me walk out in complete tears and disarray with having no clear plan of action and abandonment of client care and hopping over to next patient like I didn't exist. I will not complain about the doctors .They are very polite but some are in a rush.Unfortunetly when you are dealing with a physician you need to be aware we are no the regular Jo. As a physician myself I value time and communication with my patients no matter what. In this place ,technicians that put on pads for electrical stimulation treatment visibly do not care:very little communication,walk in and out and barely talk and never check on you to see if you are ok during treatment. During one of the latest sessions the strength of the electrical stimulation was so high it was very painful for 8 mn and nobody checked on me:so I had to endure it and was very sore for the next 2 days. So I will not be back.I have a certain level of expectation from my medical care and this so far from it. The staff needs to be better trained and taught to show some interest in their work and be less careless. read more

I've been coming to this office since I moved to the high desert three years ago. Aside from today's visit, there was only one other time that the experience was bad when I was mistakenly scheduled for an appointment during their lunch hours but it wasn't enough to come to yelp and share. However, today's visit was awful. Beginning this year they implemented a check in process that is done via a website and QR code. The past few visits I have forgotten to check in ahead of time and have walked into the office and had the front desk receptionist just point at the QR code. Not a big deal, but today I proactively checked in, walked into the office, was greeted by the front desk receptionist and sat down. 15 minutes past my appointment time I got up and asked if they were running behind. The receptionist said she did not notice that I had checked in and that usually we are supposed to just walk to the back. When I got to the back station to make my payment, I expressed to the employee that I've never just walked back. I've always checked in and sat down and waited to be called by name and then directed to walk back. I then asked if my time would be cut short because of the delay she said she would let them know. My appointment was in fact cut short and ended at the normal time. I walked back to the front desk to ask if I can receive some sort of credit for the incident. They called a superior and I explained the situation. At the same time, the front desk receptionist decided to join the conversation aggressively immediately escalating the situation. I simply said it was something they could work on and she replied with she didn't need to work on anything and kept insisting that I was lieing about my check in even though the other employees had confirmed that they saw my check in, she went on and on insisting that not noticing and didn't check in were the same thing. I did check in, she admitted to not noticing it but then changed that later in front of her leader. She also insisted that massage appointments are to wait in the other waiting area and the supervisor confirmed again that usually they still have to check in where I have always checked in for payment first. The supervisor apologized for the employees behavior and I said there was a couple things that she could work on, at that same time the front desk receptionist slammed her hands on the desk where she was sitting. I asked the supervisor to just communicate what could be improved so that someone else wouldn't have to experience the same issue. She asked if I would like a refund or credit towards my next visit. I told her if not for her wonderful masseuse and Dr, I wouldn't return, but it is not their fault that the front desk receptionist was not doing her job. Lesson learned when checking in for your appointment. Make sure you double check with the receptionist that she is paying attention to the computer so that you are not met with the same experience and your appointment cut short for a delay that was out of your hands. read more

In late 2021 I took my 15 yo son who was complaining of neck pain & saw two diff doctors on 2 diff dates. This was the 2nd Chiro clinic I had tried. Both docs adjusted my son's neck. Since the pain did not go away & I got a bad feeling for the 2nd visit, we tried a 3rd doc elsewhere. He knew immediately that my son had a major neck issue, refused to adjust him & strongly recommended X-rays. Turned out that my son's neck was dislocated from (undiagnosed until then) severe arthritis. He had emergency spinal surgery. This clinic had TWO different docs who felt nothing wrong with my son's dislocated neck. That's a major issue. I would never ever go back or recommend them. read more
