They always have a good variety of plants to choose from; they even took my name and number to call me when the plants came in so I could get the mints I wanted before they sold out! The perfect example of the local hardware store…read more.. I was in the area doing some work on my parcel of land by Toledo Bend and one of my hand tools broke. Not being familiar with the town of Many and short on time, I used Yelp! to find the nearest hardware store. The older gentleman working couldn't have been more helpful. He showed me where the screw to fix my tool was located, help me choose the size and then, having no tools with me, helped me fix the tool (I brought it along) with a couple wrenches off the shelf. I also picked up another hand tool I forgot at home, which was reasonably priced compared with the big box stores like Home Depot and Lowe's. I would have liked to look around a little more, but had to get back to work. I wasn't in the market for them, I did notice a few hard to find building supplies and hunting items that can't be found at chain stores like Lowe's and Academy. Overall, a great experience...and I was back to work in no time. Probably more of a 4.5 rating, but I'll go with a 5 star rating because of the service and the fact that these local stores are getting harder to find nowadays when corporations come to town.
