The roof started leaking at the vent pipe location. They first sent a guy who, instead of taking responsibility, completely denied there was any problem with the roof and said the vent pipe itself was the problem as it was rusted. We spent a $100 on getting the vent pipe checked out by an HVAC technician, who told us that the pipe was fine - no issues. So, I had to climb on the roof with a garden hose and run water on the roof to show that it was because of bad roof installation - I sent JP the video of the problem (the flashing of the vent pipe was not properly meshed with the shingles), and only then they agreed to fix it. The second problem is with the gutters, which are still not fixed. There is a gap between the new gutters and the roof, which is letting water to come through the gap. I have been trying to get hold of the person - they have promised to come 4 times over the last month but still have not fixed the problem. I have stayed home from work a couple of times just for it, and they did not even inform me that they were not going to make it that day. All in all, a very bad post-install service - a complete lack of professionalism!

First of all, since my initial post we had Fiddler replace our garage roof. $2000 and maybe an afternoon? Bam. You'd never have known they were there except that the new roof was lovely. Second, last year we'd been experiencing a critter home invasion - well, not really, but we had raccoons living in our soffits (I think that is what they're called). There were a couple holes made and John and another guy came by within a day or so and got them sealed up again (no raccoons were harmed!) at NO CHARGE. This is not the first time they've done "small" favors just gratis. I mean. Anyway, when the time comes we will absolutely have Fiddler roofing the house. And I tell anyone I know who mentions needing roofing. John, thank you and your staff for being truly wonderful businesspeople.

He replaced my gutters, soffits, false chimney and fixed a leak where the roof connected to a wall. His price was very competitive. He showed up when he said he would, answered my calls, and his crew worked until the sun went down and was done ahead of schedule. I talked to his insurance agent to check that he was insured (he was) and also talked to the three references I asked for and they were very pleased with this work. There's a difference between going fast and being negligent. I hope this review finds someone before they contact blue box if they care about service when nobody's looking.
