Similar to Rich E.'s review of this place, his TL;DR is quite accurate: "Cheap quality stuff at low prices." However, my argument to such a poignant statement would be context matters deeply. As someone who is newly moved (I hate moving by the way, top 3 worst things in the world to experience), StockMAX was a fine location to look for items that might be a good solution for a few years. Similar to fast fashion, furniture and decor seem to be falling into the same trend of get new things every season. Rarely are things made to last as long as they used to be. However, with a different perspective you can see how StockMAX might find its audience better with those looking for solutions now with items that won't break the bank, but give luxury, even if it's only for a year or two. The space is essentially a large open floor warehouse. It is mindfully curated and has their goods placed in easily recognizable sections, ranging from cabinets, tables, chairs, desks, and random accessories you might want like ice makers, sensor activated trashcans, and step ladder shelves. They even have lawn furniture which would easily cater to any backyard activity and elevate your space. One of the best finds for me was a wide faux leather swivel chair. It has the air of avant-garde without the price you'd pay to be an aristocrat. Luckily, sitting on it brought forward a sigh of relief that it wasn't just aesthetically good looking but comfortable as well. Honestly, I'll probably end up buying it in the next week or two. That's not to say there aren't some stinkers. Most of the cabinets on sale look great, but when you get closer you realize the cabinet shelves are actually fabric instead of wood. Many of the desks look shabby and possibly breaking if you erased too hard on it. Some stuff just looked ugly. But, overall I saw more good than bad. All that being said, the statement of "cheap quality stuff for low prices" is still true, but hopefully now you can see where the value comes. Coming to StockMAX won't take up too much of your time, as you could probably speed run the whole place in 7 minutes, but if you are looking for an item here or there to tide you over for a bit, StockMAX might make your day. read more

TL;DR: Cheap quality stuff at low prices. Saw this place advertised on some social media video and it's kind of close by and we were looking for outdoor furniture so we decided to go take a look. The room is pretty big so thought there was going to be a lot of good stuff. Looking around the place it became quickly apparent that this stuff is really just overstock stuff. Sitting in the chairs and feeling the fabric of the furniture you can tell the quality is somewhat lower which is reflected in the prices. After walking around for a few minutes we decided to leave. The prices are good but the stuff just seems disposable. Like you just replace them every year. We just didn't find anything worthwhile and the social media post was obviously an exaggeration and just had to pass. Only go if you want low prices over quality. But we had to pass. read more

I would suggest parking on E. Live Oak St, rather than on San Gabriel. Besides the fact that San Gabriel is a super busy street that backs up with traffic, if you decide to buy a bigger item that needs to be picked up from their back warehouse, you have easier access to get in, instead of circling your car around the block. The prices here, in-person can be better and even more discounted than on their website, depending on what inventory they need to clear out. There are lots of chairs, like office chairs, gaming chairs, dining chairs, bar stools, that you can get for a really, really, REALLY good price. I'm not gonna say they're the best quality, but I think it's perfect if you need to quickly furnish a place on a budget, ie - a college student needing a desk, chair, etc for a dorm or an apartment. I would say, try sitting on the stuff in store before you buy to test it's durable enough for your usage. You have to imagine that stuff this cheap is built as mail-order stuff for skinny Asians. I picked up a side table that's lasted the better part of a year, so far. I was SUPER tempted to get a fluffy cat tree for $20. Some cool selection of outdoor furniture. And even some random household things, like a clothes steamer. The thing is, I get the sense that their inventory is rather randomized. But I think you'll find some cool deals or something useful for a bargain if you take stroll and walk around. I had never heard of it but I went. Found even nicer barstools for $39!!!! I go in every time I drive by & they always have something I need for a great price. This place was recommended to us since we were looking for a loveseat and others said this place is good for having deals on office chairs, and let's just say they have a lot of selections and good priced chairs. Parking can be in the street of San Gabriel blvd or you can go into Live Oak st and enter through the back especially if there are heavy furniture you purchased and need to grab from the level one storage. When entering through San Gabriel blvd entrance you are on level 2 and that's where all the displayed merchandise are located with the staff and register. You can use the stairs or elevator. They not only sell office chairs but also miscellaneous items such as bubble machines, storage and dressers, recliners and sofas, mattresses, lawn chairs, dining table and chairs, bedding and covers, random electronic stuff (power banks, fans, cables, etc.), pet grooming supplies and equipment, and many other things. We were looking at everything and many times the pricing is good but the items we don't need. We were eyeing the office chairs which were priced from 19$ to 109$. We plan to go back with a larger car to pick it up. I ended up purchasing a laundry hamper for 5$, it looked sturdy and I needed one. "JUST BUY OFF AMAZON" Not what it used to be, not sure if new management is in place but all the prices are up 300%. The point of this store was to find cheaper alternatives. With products costing and price matching Amazon I might as well shop online. The false advertising is infuriating, they display "better" product and when you get home to open your package it's huge scam and quality is cheaper and not as displayed. I then saw a good quality chair, which they have a lot of and ended up getting it. There were only 2 people in the store when I came so service can be slow. Plenty of parking in the back. I came here looking for a desk chair we saw on Facebook marketplace and the prices were fantastic! We paid 45$ for a rolling chair that's wide and can cross your legs on. There was an indentation on the chair that seemed like something was left on it for a long time so they lady at the register lowered the price by $5. Don't buy any chairs. There are several items at great value. Staff is friendly. I bought two chairs. Put them together. One of them broke within a week. I dont know what the material is.
