I've been eyeing a couch I saw on Offerup, and reached out to the Arcadia Discount Outlet for a specific couch I was eyeing at Target. This store is located in a warehouse location, close to the gold line, all the way at the end of the suites. Getting good deals and bargain shopping can be a pain sometimes which is why it's always fun to shop at the outlets. Especially if it's near the Los Angeles area rather than driving all the way to Barstow or other random cities. This location is a small mom and pop store which have many items that were probably returned or refurbished by big department stores and sold to third party vendors for pennies on the dollar. I have seen quite a few items here with Target labels on them which tells me the quality is good. I purchased 2 small items, one was a large Pop Star Wars Toy for $7.99 with the original price tag of $29.99 and another selfie light from Elf for $7.99 with the original price of of $14.99. I refer to Google to validate if I am saving money. The employee says they have new updated products ariving every 3 weeks. I love this store! I discovered it on Facebook Marketplace and have already recommended it to several people that I know. I bought 4 brand new, still in the box, high quality bar stools here for $120 when Target was charging $180 plus tax for the SAME EXACT ones! I also bought a brand new 20-quart GINORMOUS Turkey roaster for $20 when those are in the $50-$80 price range The customer service is amazing. The 2 men working when I stopped by were so helpful, they offered to assemble the bar stools for me and they even helped me load my car and arrange my stuff so that everything could fit. Very quick on the feet and assist before you even have to ask. They really go the extra mile here for their customers. No need to worry, although they are a Discount Outlet everything is still done as professional as the big branders like Target and Walmart. They accept card too! They are running appointment only during their transition to their new space. This is good so that they can concentrate on moving but the limited hours makes it tough to make the time slots. It makes it even more frustrating when you make an appointment and drive up and NO ONE IS THERE! And you message them and no one responds. Waste of time. This place is a hidden gem. We stumbled on it through a Craigslist or Offer Up search (can't recall) and found them to have a ton of great stuff at low prices. And they are so helpful. They answered questions via text before we drove out there to confirm they had what we wanted in stock. They even located a few additional items for us once we got there. We left our "wish list" of other items and Vick text a few days later after they got a shipment. Too bad the place is a bit far for us or we'd be there way too often searching their new arrivals. GREAT Prices. A Window AC unit I had been looking for had gone up in price significantly. The good folks here had it at a fraction of the price and brand new! Vic, one of the folks working there took care of me very kindly. A quick look at the store revealed they had plenty of great things at low cost i.e. a pressure cooker for $75.. the lowest price I had seen it anywhere was $86 plus shipping. You get the idea... Thanks to Abel and this amazing store, I am going to make my pregnant wife a very very very happy girl tonight. I fully intend to come back to this review and expound on the situation so that you all have a full understanding of why you should patronize this business. But here in the interim is the quick elevator pitch: Los Angeles. August 2017. Heat Wave. Pregnant Wife. Live on Westside. A/C doesn't come standard because we simply never need it because of the cool ocean breeze. Not the case this year, and certainly not with a pregnancy, and a young son in the household. The only solution to the most uncomfortable heat we've experienced in 15 years living there was to grab a Portable AC unit. Thought this would be easy. Home Depot's gonna have it...no problem right. WRONG. Those jack off's wouldn't even answer their phones, and when they did, NONE of them had the one we wanted in stock, and they were all rude. Same for Best Buy, Lowes, Walmart, Target, and a few other larger stores. NONE of them had it. So I resorted to Craigslist, where I encountered the typical scam after scam, misdirect, potential bait and switch, and sketchy ads. Almost gave up but then dug deeper into the postings, and found one that was the one we wanted, brand new in the box, an AMAZING price, and a name a contact number listed. (I avoid ads that don't put numbers or names.....99% of the time those are scams). So I texted Abel, he responded, was very polite, had the one we wanted in stock (last one), and if I could get my assistant to hustle from Santa Monica to Arcadia by 7pm, it would be mine. He agreed kindly to wait, my assistant jumped in his car and took off....making it just a second before 7pm. Suffice to say, I will have the unit in operation within the next couple hours, I will have a happy wife, and that my friends, is all that counts. There is so much more to the story, because as my assistant was driving the long drive out there, I was researching the store, and incredibly blown away by what I was finding. Businesses like these are what make life in America great.....business owners that treat customers with respect and courtesy immediately, and go that little extra mile to make sure you walk away happy. The larger story is that the Home Depots and the big box stores are just rip offs, because you don't get the "experience" of transacting with somebody that you know is going to benefit and thrive because you chose to spend your money there. No shareholders to answer to, no apathetic employees who could careless about the customer......this is a true example of what commerce in America should be like. I have to jet home now, and unwrap the "unfindable" prize, but I will be back to add to this. This place has the stuff that Home Depot and Lowes sell but at much lower prices. A lot of the stuff they sell is brand new, yet still cheaper than the big box stores. They have some stuff that is used as well but they check everything to make sure it functions properly. I got a fan that I saw at Cost co for $20.00 less and it was brand new still in the box. I also purchased a bouncing bee toy for my nephew brand new as well and the little guy loves it. I wanted to buy an AC but they were out when I went. Abel promised to call me as soon as they got a new shipment in. He did so the week after my visit. I'm very happy with the service they offered me. From now on I'm going there first. read more

You must try this spot!! We were looking for a portable a/c unit and they had a great selection, some boxed, but all either new or like new. The owner and staff are very helpful. Prices are extremely fair and they have a ton of other items ranging from new dishes, linens, pots and pans. Everytime I'm looking to purchase something I first give them a call to see if they have it or not, and most of the time they have it for 50-60% off of what i was going to pay if i went to any other store. Me and my Wife have been looking for a Portable AC Unit that would keep our room cool during summer. I ended up going on Craigslist to find a nice good one for a good price. At first I found one for $135 and thought it was a guy selling it from a home. But turns out it was a discount outlet and they had a lot more Portable ACs for sale! So I decided to check them out with my wife. They had a wide variety of power tools, fridges, ac, ect. And while they were nice enough to explain how things worked and how they got there product. They led me to even getting a nicer ac and for only 350. They told me it was sold for 700 almost new and had me pop up the model for proof and they were right. At first I was skeptical and didn't believe I was getting sold a almost perfect model for 300 bucks less. It was sealed but it looked as if they sealed it back themselves. But even if they did or not. They were positive enough to open it and show me that the unit was still new and worked great. So I went for it. They even helped bring it back to my house when we couldn't get it to fit for our car. The ac is now in our rooms installed and working amazing! Glad I found out these guys and hope everyone else gets the same experience as I did. read more
