We were traveling to Florida when we decided to stay the night in the South Georgia, Northern Florida. Valdosta, GA seemed a good choice. As avid cigar smokers we began looking for a cigar lounge. We found Stogies Downtown and it was well reviewed. There was free parking on the street within 100', There are 4 different seating areas each with their own distinct charm and design. A nice sized humidor with many of the standard fare. The hostess/bartender was friendly and helpful. It has all the charm and ambience of a good cigar lounge. Free Wi-Fi as well. The only suggestion I could make was additional ingredients to make an Old Fashioned. I love a good one with my cigar but settled for a shot of whiskey instead. read more

Was pleasantly suprised my first time in w comfortable chairs, a well stocked humidor, and great conversation from others enjoying their afternoon stoggie. Not the biggest cigar shop in the world but one of the friendliest! Headed out of town and left my travel humidor behind. Discovered this shop on the corner of Hill and Patterson and was greeted by staff before the door shut behind me. There was a nice seating area to the left and a fully-stocked humidor down the hall to the right. A solid selection all reasonably priced and all fresh. I'll be back even if I have my travel humidor with me. read more

Stogies Downtown is a cigar bar located in Valdosta, GA. SERVICE (5/5): By far this is my favorite aspect of this cigar lounge. The owner and workers are very friendly and helpful in choosing cigars. Additionally, the frequently check on guest to ensure they have whatever they need. CIGAR OPTIONS (4/5): Most major brands are offered here. Pardon, Fuente, Rocky Patel, etc. I would like to see some more variety but I assume the options are limited by the humidor size. DRINKS (4/5): Nice craft beer selection and great prices. read more

What a great find to relax and enjoy a cigar. Lawanna and Ed were very hospitable and awesome to speak with. They made us feel like we were not just at a cigar lounge but their home. Which made the atmosphere even more pleasant. I was just going to buy cigars and run but after talking with them we stayed and rnjoyed coffee and a cigar. This is my second review for Stoogies. My review and my wife's review were both taken down by Yelp, because we happened to be at Stoogies when we wrote them, which makes sense because that is usually when you think about recommending a place to others. To the point...Stoogies is great! It has a great selection of cigars, a great selection of beer and wine (no liquor because of local ordinance). The atmosphere is perfect for sitting down and relaxing, smoking a cigar either inside on a big comfortable leather chair, at the bar or outside at one of their tables. Valdosta has been in long need of a place like this, and Stoogies has knocked it out of the park. read more

Had a great a time here. I came all the way from San Diego on a visit to see my son and daughter in law and she took us here. What a find. Wish I had this near me, I would be a regular for sure. Amazing place! In town from Ybor City near Tampa Bay. This place would fit right in down there. Owner was great. Beer choices great and very fair prices. I enjoyed my outing at Stogies. They have a nice cigar selection and various beers. They don't serve liquor because of a city ordinance and they could stay open later. They can't really control the ordinance. The atmosphere is really nice and I will be returning. read more

Stogies is a excellent establishment. I have wanted to try cigars for sometime, and the owner/proprietor was very cordial and answered all of my (uninformed) questions in a very professional manner.
