He was hands-on and attentive, ensuring the job stayed on track. They pulled the necessary permit, were properly licensed and insured, and used GAF roofing materials, which gave me added confidence in the quality. Like many contractors I've worked with over the past 30 years, there's always room for improvement in safety protocols--but overall, they did a solid job keeping their crew safe. Cleanup could have been a little better, which is pretty common with roofing projects. That said, Danny came back the next day with a magnet to double-check for nails in my gray gravel driveway (which is tough to search), and sure enough, he found and removed a few. That kind of follow-through matters. And here's a major plus: the job came in at a good price with long-term interest-free financing--a rare and excellent bonus. I wanted someone to come out to look at the roof prior to pricing. I thought they sent roofers, but in retrospect realize they were sales agents. They communicated well when it was time to receive payment but did such a horrible job otherwise. There are nails and a hammer left on the property. 1 month after they completed the job, we are still finding nails. I signed the job with them but when it was time to do our gutters, a random company came to my backyard. At no point was I informed the job would be subcontracted to another company. When I complained, they told me those are Gunner workers using another company's truck because theirs broke down. We have had many repairs and this was by far the worst I've ever had. We kept having to remind them to come after they've gotten our money. The gutters are so poorly done that it's raining currently and it's so loud in the house because the spouts are high off the ground. All you hear is the water gushing down to the lawn. Please do not believe the google reviews. They are very positive but the Yelp reviews matched my experience.

His pricing was quite fair for this large job. They began work within a week and I was incredibly impressed with his team, how clean they kept the worksite (our front courtyard) and how they cleaned up after each day's work. They were organized, methodical and worked section by section around the entire roof. The men were all hard workers and very kind. Almost as surprised as when the Spotless truck appeared in the morning many days later, and I repeated to the crew leader that I had terminated Spotless. Vinylume Roof is in great condition. The leaks are from my chimney. Bob was so nice . He helped to seal the leaks at the chimney. He showed me the pictures of the leaking area. Bob advised me to find a mason to fix the leaks because there are a lot of loose bricks, thus the water came inside the house. Bob and Vinylume were so nice. He did not complain that this is not a Vinylume roof problem. I am very happy to work with a big company like Vinylume.
