They are closing at the end of April, 2024 and moving across the street according to a post on their Facebook page. There are still a few pieces of furniture deeply discounted (bookshelves for $25.00), a couple racks of clothes and some kitchen items, hangers, toys still for sale but beware... the offerings are exceptionally few. The shop is nearly empty, and the staff seem preoccupied enough to even notice you are there. From Sloan's Thrift Facebook page: Exciting News! Sloans thrift will be closing its doors and relocating across the street to its new location next to the new Planet Fitness (old rite aid location or for better clarity, near Ollie's. This move is already in process. Even thought the idea saddens us, we are looking forward to a bigger location. The plan is to close up last week in April and reopen May1st. More updates will come as things progress but just remember now Bristol will have 2 great thrifts stores in one great location!

Both old and new, there is always something to catch your eye. The staff here are beyond friendly and the store is fabulously arranged in some areas to present decorating ideas. Shed was built excellently and specs were correct. The gentleman that delivered the shed was extremely professional and hardworking, However, the shed was damaged in transit, a roof shingle blew off, it was also damaged while being moved into the yard. There is a large deep scratch across both front doors. The gentleman that delivered the shed documented the damage with photos. It was also written on the delivery receipt. I called Paul, one of the owners, that day and spoke with him about it and was assured it would be taken care of. That never happened. None of this was ever addressed, in fact it was ignored and I have a shed that I paid full price for that has a missing roof shingle and deeply scratched doors. Outside of that, I must say...The shed is built very well and if you don't have any issues you will be happy. My experience though is if there's issues or damage... do not expect any after sale support. It's a shame because if I'm in the market for a shed again this will definitely factor into my purchasing decision. I'm still irritated every time I put my key in the door and see that deep scratch across the bottom of both doors and the missing roof shingle.

You need to put it behind the counter. She thinks we're going to steal!" She says, "no, it's just if you happen to turn around and break something you'll have to pay for it". They have great displays with different sizes underneath. A lot did not have pricing but Rick was kind enough to price check everyone that I was interested in. They also sell the grippers to go under the rugs for only $29.99 which is half the price of Amazon. When I found the perfect rugs Rick was nice enough to wrap them up, carry them to the register and load them into my car. They also had fantastic deals on laminate and vinyl plank flooring, 50% less than what I just paid at Home Depot. You never know what you will find at Ollie's. The perfect store you browse on a rainy day!
