To their credit, they were apologetic and provided us with a few bottles of water and a bag of ice. Other than not being able to use the water, the place is great! Very quiet in the rooms. Even when 8-10 trucks and boats left early in the morning for the tournaments, we didn't hear a thing. The rooms are newly remodeled and look great! I wouldn't hesitate to come back and stay again although I would definitely ask about the water first. Oh, plus they are dog friendly for $10/night which is MUCH cheaper than putting her in a kennel.

The paper thin walls ensured that we could hear every curse, slur, and slap of the domestic abuse ridden chronicle that unfolded next to us throughout the night. When this chapter came to a close around 4am we thought the night might be over, but luckily Telephone Tammy filled the next hour and a half with her riveting telenovela drama that kept us at the edge of our bed until 5:30am. At the end of our stay, we awoke entertained and refreshed on two hours of sleep, ready to take on the day. Stories of the Owl Haven will surly live on in our family for many years to come!

Boat access nearby below resort with docks, I believe. We love it for hunting season.

BUT, it is incredibly clean, super comfy & spacious. We were in a room with a kitchenette & everything was sparkling clean, there were plenty of dishes if we'd wanted to eat, and a full sized fridge. Part of my family stayed in the end room, which we think was originally the owners quarters, and it is HUGE! Full kitchen with dinette, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & a living room with couch, sofa & 2 recliners (recliners in the sofa & couch too!). 6 stayed comfortably but we could have all stayed in that room. I would recommend this place 100%, on or off season. Affordable, spacious, clean & such friendly staff.
