I have been going to Stone Dentistry for the past 15 years. The are always professional and pleasant. A couple of weeks ago they re-lined my lower plate and when I got home I realized I couldn't wear it because it really hurt. When I called Tammi, the mgr, she asked me to come right back in. When they finished working on my lower plate it fit perfectly. I tested it on some baby back ribs and no problem. I highly recommend Stone. You should go there. When I first went to Stone Dentistry about 5 years ago, it was great!! Now not so good. One dentist working on four patients at the same time. You never get the same dentist. Then they have no clue what is going on!!! I was so disappointed with everything. I paid a lot of money and the service sucks!! This is the worst dentist in the world. I have the best insurance, and they charged me $5000 on top. When I met the dentist, he said he would build a bridge, and there was no need for implants. He claims that they guarantee their work for five years. After a month or so, the bridge brooked when I called back. They told me the dentist who gives missed information is not working here. The person who built the bridge denied he made this bridge. They charged me again for 2000 dollars, but they had a new dentist within one month and completely denied what they had claimed before. I will take them to court for misleading information. read more

If I could give them negative stars I would. My judgement on this this place... everyone who needs any kind of dental care needs to stay away until further notice. Just the other day an immediate family member had a routine procedure done at their facilities and the end result was the people who operated on them caused an injury so bad heavy bleeding occurred... resulting in an evacuation via ambulance to a local hospital. The reason they did this was because they couldn't stop the bleeding. They penetrated beyond a tooth and caused a disastrous problem. This relative could have died from this poor, abysmal treatment. And their spouse was not properly informed when it became clear a major medical crisis had happened. We have no idea what the potential long term health issues will be from all this. This was complete incompetence. This was dangerous, cruel and unprofessional on level I can barely comprehend. If they can't do standard dental surgery safely they have no business doing it all. Then they closed down their office at their regular time so there was no one on hand to give us any updates on our loved one's condition. So for hours we didn't know which hospital our family member was sent to. For a time we were not sure if they were alive or dead. At one point we had to contact a 911 dispatch to get that information. Today my loved one is still receiving treatment in the emergency wing of a local hospital after this medical calamity. They will be there for most likely days before they can come home. This should have never happened. I have almost never heard of a situation this bad after going to a regular dental appointment. This business needs to be thoroughly investigated. Maybe even closed down for good. There needs to be severe consequences for those involved in this horrific episode. read more

RATED AS ZERO I was seated at 8 am for my 8 am appointment.. and that's it.. I was just seated. No cleaning, no exam- nothing. I was ignored foe 20+ minutes when I finally stopped one of the hygienists to ask where the dentist Naveed Aman was. She admitted he wasn't even In the building yet! ( it was 8:20 am.. my appt was at 8-Arrogant SOB) When he finally showed up, & settles himself in , I told him how unprofessional and rude he was by being over 1/2 hour late to work when he has a patient waiting .. He of course validated his unprofessionalism by sticking the mirror in my mouth for less than 2 seconds, squirted 2 shouts of air in my mouth then got up and walked away without saying a word. Confused, I had to ask the assistant if that was my ' exam' - the 4 second exam that would be billed to my insurance. To top off that insulting experience, the office manager Tammy box was slurping up the last of her breakfast when she butted in with her condescending, combative loud attitude for all in the office to see and hear. There is no excuse for the UNPROFESSIONAL, disgusting,childish behavior . Reading thru the other reviews, I see this is pretty much the way the run this office . They are rude with attitude. Attention insurance carries- you're probably being billed for procedures that haven't been done. As Not even a cleaning or a cleaning. Dr Frankenstein This review pertains mostly for Dr Kenny. For starters Dr did not introduce himself at the beginning, I had to ask who he was. I went to have decalcification removed from four front top teeth by the dentist I had been seeing previously but ended up being seen by this Dr Frankenstein. He did not inform me about a thing pertaining to the procedure prior to beginning other than we can get that off. He did not inform me that he'd be shaving my teeth. I was thinking more like buffering. He also did not inform me that he'd be putting filling material on top of teeth after shaving. Once completed I he handed me a mirror and before I could lift it up he was in the next room over. I had noticed the color of my teeth were off and there was a big gouge out of the top of my front right tooth in the middle and had made the assistant aware. She went and spoke with him and all I heard him say was "That's all I can do right now". He came back and proceeded to tell me I needed to let the teeth re moisturize because of the procedure and that he had know time to straighten up the teeth because he had already spent and hour but that I couldcome back another day. I believe that's why the dentist prior said he would split appointment into two sessions so that it could've been done correctly. I ended up calling the dentists office I believe the next day. Food kept getting stuck in the gouge at the top of my tooth. I went back and seen dentist that I'd been seeing prior as I had told the office I didn't want dr Kenny in Munich mouth ever again. He evened out that tooth but I'm still left with discoloration compared to other teeth because apparently dr kenny decided to use A2 which didn't match my original shade well. I'm to the points were I wish I never had anything done to my front teeth. I'm taking the time to write this in hopes to save someone else from any suffering that I incurred. Also I am still considering filing a lawsuit as it has only been a few months. I called the office today to get correct spelling of name to be told he no longer works with them. If it were possible to leave a no star review, I absolutely would. Avoid this place at all costs, because it will cost you severely. I tell my story below about how they installed a bridge over a calcified tooth and are now refuting responsibility for pain and complications with the newly installed bridge that could have been avoided. I had a bridge installed on a set of teeth that had become cracked and needed replacing. I was seen by THREE separate doctors in the process to get this done and not one of them treated me in a professional manner. This place seems to have a constant rotation of staff and Doctors. The worst of which is Dr. Pamela Moses who carelessly installed a temporary bridge which not only looked horrible, but ended up causing me SEVERE pain. After dealing with the pain for two weeks, I was contacted by the office to let me know that they would need to reschedule an appointment that didn't even exist. Things went downhill from here quickly after them trying to cancel a NONEXISTENT appointment I showed up to my actual appointment that I had been given a card with a date. Here I was seen again by Dr. Moses who I told I had been experiencing severe pain on my molar that the office had worked on to make the temporary bridge. Her response to me was "Oh well all your other teeth look fine" and she proceeded to permanently affix a bridge to the tooth I had complained to her about. Two months later I had pain above the aforementioned tooth, this time in the form of a tooth abscess. I scheduled an emergency appointment and told them on the phone that I believed I had a tooth abscess that had ruptured as I had a mix of puss and blood coming out of a large lump formed above my now permanently capped tooth. When seen by Dr. Nguyen, the newest addition to the team I was given X-Rays and told that I should get a small baby tooth that had never come out of my mouth looked at and was about to be sent on my way. Instead, I asked to have my gums looked at to which Dr. Nguyen's response was "Oh well sometimes when they do a bridge they may file the tooth down too far. Where did you get this bridge done?" When I told him that I had the replacement bridge done at his office he looked shocked and did everything in his power to get me out of the office. I was told to take antibiotics and to pay for my visit upfront and to schedule a root canal. Unhappy with this answer I was then tasked with speaking with office Manager Anna Alteri, which started out positively as she actually called in my antibiotics (WHICH WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN CALLED IN UNLESS I HAD ASKED OR QUESTIONED WHY I WAS BEING TOLD TO PAY AND GET OUT) She claimed that these things happen and that they were in no way at fault for the damage done to my teeth and the abscess caused by them putting a cap over a damaged, hurting tooth. A week after taking my antibiotics to no avail I then called to talk to Anna over the phone as she had told me to if there was not an improvement with my abscess. I was told that she was very busy and to contact her at her email address. I wrote her an email and didn't receive a response even after following up the next day. So when I called again I was told that she had replied but it must've "gotten lost". Turns out she had replied to my email but sent her response to herself, not to my email. She now claims that my X-Rays show that my tooth I had complained about is calcified based on Dr. Nguyen's diagnosis and that this didn't happen solely over the course of two months and that they will not be able to help me with a root canal as the process will be too involved due to the bridge and calcification of the tooth. So my question for you now is why would three Doctors see my XRays and continue to put a bridge over a calcified tooth? Why would I not be told of this diagnosis before or when I complained of pain? I was told I would be given Anna Alteri's Manager's email for escalating things to corporate but I have yet to receive an email from her with this information. A 4 year NIGHTMARE at his Cicero NY office. Due to a medical issue I had since childhood, I told the Dr I wanted implants with no metal & nothing on the roof of my mouth. He didn't listen. The implants have metal & a metal palate. He gave me implants that hurt, couldn't eat or talk with. Kept going back over and over for the device to be cut down to stop the vomiting. Didn't work.I cried every time in the chair. 1/2 the screws became infected & had to come out. 2 screws fell out while sleeping and I woke up choking on them on 2 separate nights. He also removed the rest of my top teeth, I have spend 4 years gagging and vomiting. Ruined the rest of my bottom teeth. Spent 11K and still can't eat or speak with these worthless dentures. He offered all my money back, then changed his mind. He was censured in 2019 by the CT Dentistry board. . Not very professional. (IDK why it says I am from San Francisco??) read more

i went there six years ago to get full dentures. i was getting four implants on lower dentures. had six teeth on bottom removed. this whole proceedure took one year to complete. i was satisfied with the work. i ended up paying over $5000 for it all. now i went in to get new dentures, as my insurance will cover new every feww years. the girl in office, who i have had trouble with before over charges for proceedures i did not authorize, quoted me the same price! over $5ooo. she just scribbled numbers and said this is total. when i questioned her to why it would cost that much, since i was not having teeth extractd or having implants put in, she scribbled some more, like she was just making up numbers as she went. She was rude and acted like i was bothering her everytime i questioned her. she is why i will be going elsewhere. too bad they allow her to ruin their business. they dont even have a price chart to back up prices they quote! If I could give this place negative stars I would. A routine wisdom took extraction by Dr. Moses resulted in me having to be rushed to the ER by ambulance, needing a blood transfusion, being placed on life support on a ventilator and spending days in the ICU. The ER and ICU doctors said they've never seen anything like it before. I had ICU doctors telling me they don't won't to get their wisdom teeth removed now. I'm lucky to be alive, I almost died. On top of that the dental staff failed to give the EMTs my demographic information so I was admitted under an alias. It took hours for my family to locate me while I laid unconscious on life support. My wisdom teeth weren't even bothering me. I should have been referred to an oral surgeon, but I guess they wanted to see how much they could make off of me. In the end I've had to pay thousands out of pocket for medical and dental bills. It was the most traumatizing experience of my life. The worst day of my life was when I walked into that place. The dentist she had no bedside matter at all. Just the worst of the worst. I don't recommend anyone going to that place, it really shouldn't even be allowed to practice. Thankfully I found a great new dentist fast to do my post procedure evaluation. read more

All and all it was a good experience. My only complaint was that the Dentist was late for every morning appointment I booked. Very annoying. I got the impression that no ones time was as important as his time. That being said EVERYONE else in that office are super nice and professional. The dentist was extremely unprofessional, late and told me he could not finish the work he promised he would complete and that I had to come back an additional 3 times in order to complete my dental work. I don't have a problem with the staff at Stone Dentistry in Cicero but I do have an issue with the quality of the dentures. I purchased the "Worry Free " dentures with a 7 year warranty. After approximately 1 1/2 years the bottom denture broke in half. I didn't drop them! Stone Dentistry repaired the denture. I thought they should immediately have made a new one, but, I didn't press the issue. The office manager Tammy told me they would make a new denture if it broke again. Well, it broke again not too long after. They made a new denture as promised, however, I can't wear it. It doesn't fit right. I have gone back a couple times to try to have adjustment made but it still doesn't fit right. I have to use an old denture instead. I think the dentist knows it was not made correctly but keeps telling me he can adjust it. Very disappointed in Stone Dentistry in Cicero. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. read more

The dentist was not only rude but condescending. He continually scorned and shamed me for not "seeing a dentist more often" and that brushing 3 or more times a day is meaningless. I had initially went to him because I recently was enrolled into a new dental insurance and they recommended him when I called about dentists that could extract a broken tooth. When he initially sat me down I had explained that I hadnt been to a dentist in a few years because I did not have insurance and my husband and I had gone through some tough times financially. He promptly told me he could tell that even before I opened my mouth (keep in mind I dress fashionably to a degree) and he said that he could do the extraction because he "was ok at it" but wouldnt do it, or even recommend a specialist until he performed a 5 session deep clean that would cost me out of pocket $1200. He also blamed me personally for my overbite and I asked "what am I supposed to do about it" and his reply was "what am I supposed to do for you?". I dont know if it was because I am a woman and his culture frowns upon women, or that he doesnt take the Hippocratic oath seriously but I wouldnt recommend this dental practice to anyone. I cant say enough good things about this dentistry. Dr Aman and Matt were true caring professionals, that I found to be very knowledgeable .Everything they had to do was well explained and they took extra time to make sure I was not experiencing any pain. there is a family like atmosphere that makes you comfortable and at ease. I never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes to be seen. the result was more than I had hoped for. they did an outstanding job! I am very very happy. it was a process but well worth it. The worst experience I have ever had!!!! The place so unprofessional. The manager Tammy have no clue on what she's doing. They gave me a consultation but didn't hold up their end of the consultation. They kept shoving the partial they made me that doesn't fit multiple times that they scratched the root of my mouth. I had to leave work early for 3 days straight in a row because I had to keep going back for nothing because they didn't fixed the problem. The modified my perfect partial and gave me something so shiny. And expect you to wear a partial of a partial and use fixodent. After the fact they expected me to pay. They told me they would add a tooth to my partial. But noooooooo.... they modified my partial big time to a point that it was hurting me. But tried to shove it in my mouth anyways. The lab tech Matt, looks so dirty first of all... on top of them ruining my old perfect partial.... they were acting like they were doing me a favor. I wouldn't recommend this place. I have placed a complaint to American dentist association and to better business Bureau. I sent the modified partial they made and American dentist association for sure will review it.
