I like that the majority of items are unique and one-of-a-kind. The prices are a bit steep but they are willing to budge a bit. I'm fascinated every time I go there just to look around. There are benches to sit on outside in the back boxwood garden. They had a few wedding receptions at this place. Worth looking around and seeing items from decades ago or finding some treasure from the past.

Some items have little, white tags attached which explain it's incredible, rich history and approximate year born ~ absolutely fascinating! I have bought four pieces of furniture from here and they have all been very worth it. And you just can't beat the pricing! Staff is always so nice. The last time I was there they even helped my husband load the furniture into our truck. They also give you a week to pick up your purchased items if you can't take them the day of. Support small!

I walked away with a car full of great finds, and while both stores are good, I actually liked this one best. I'm often not a fan of the antique mall set up where you have a bunch of different vendors selling under one roof. The selection and quality is usually much worse when you get together 25 people who do this as a hobby than when you have one person running their own store and is doing it as their living. However, this place proved to be an exception. Lots of vendors have their own little areas and to my delight, they had tons of good small furniture, lamps, mirrors, frames, rugs - all antique, mostly prior to the 1950s. I found most of the pieces to be reasonably priced too. The woman tending the store was lovely. She called one of the vendors and negotiated a price for me over the phone. She helped me juggle a bunch of belongings and got all of my stuff to the backdoor where I could pull up my car close in the rain. I adore this place and will be back again and again. Note, they have another location diagonally across the street with more contemporary and collectors items like toys and such. I did not spend much time in there.

Most of the stuff is fairly organized, and some of the prices aren't bad for an antique store. The building on the north side of the street has a nice selection of vintage housewares, plus piles upon piles of vintage fabric (my wife's main reason for repeat visits). We only hit the south-side building if we have spare time to kill - lots of antique toys, tools, and furniture there. Overall a pretty cool place if you want to browse for a good hour or two :)

I had all the essentials, a bed, a couch, a desk, some dressers. The one thing I lacked was a kitchen table. That's a pretty big deal, especially when it takes you three weeks to finally go out and get one! My landlord pointed me right down the road and told me to check out Allen's Antiques. I had been in during my first week checking out some of the tables and Allen himself was very helpful, walking me through all the rooms and telling me about each of them. Upon my second visit two weeks later, Allen remembered who I was and once again helped out by showing me some of the new stock and some other tables I had missed on my first visit. I ended up settling on a beautiful drop leaf table that was right on the porch, and he gave me an incredible deal! Even better, it was delivered for free! Allen and the two movers who helped bring the table up to my apartment couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I noticed that a previous reviewer had commented on the clutter of the place itself. I definitely agree, the place is jam-packed with antique finds and it gets a little tight in corners, but I feel like this is what makes your experience in an antique store more exciting. You're surrounded by so much history and every piece is struggling to be noticed and to tell you its story, but it allows you to find those special pieces that really speak to you and stand out among all the rest.

The entire store is dog friendly and Brie was so good walking around the delicate merchandise. There's a lot of merch, so if you have a clunky dog, use caution. It felt like being in a museum where everywhere you turn there is something unusual to see!
