I couldn't believe how hard it was to find something that was well made, attractive AND affordable! I was about to give up and overspend on something new. But just in time, we found a great Pennsylvania House piece here, along with a helpful mini consult with the owner. I also appreciated being able to get the piece delivered for a reasonable fee. And it definitely WAS! This is an unusual store. They sell unique, eclectic furniture--lots of mid-century stuff--as well as things that will make you go "Huh? Did I really see that?" They have a lot of glassware, as well as very unusual lighting, and artwork that includes neon light tubing. I noticed a 1950's green glass vase that I loved, sets of drinking glasses, some really unusual lamps, a vintage radio, glass ashtrays, and of course the furniture. The collection of ashtrays reminded me of a time before everyone stopped smoking for their health. I wish I could list more of the items that were for sale, but I was blown away by the overall look, and wound up talking with the owner instead of taking careful notes on the merchandise. The owner who I spoke with is an artist who's done a lot of different things, and his art background shows in that the goods in the shop are not something you will find elsewhere. The building it's in has a wonderful stained glass door at the front, but you enter at the side from a gravel parking lot. It's across the road and a little bit north of Gristie's Bucks County Antiques, and it's unquestionably worth finding the entrance to the parking lot and checking it out!

You could spend hours in this store -- there's lots of vintage glassware, jewelry, home decor items and more to explore! The manager was friendly and helpful, and happy to answer our questions about the set in the window. As we took a closer look at it, he told us he'd give the person who was selling it here a call to see if she could do any better on the price. After taking a quick break to grab coffee next door and do some research, we found that the set was priced very competitively as compared to what we were finding online. We went back in, made a deal, and my friend went home with the most beautiful set of bar glasses complete with a gold holder to keep them all in place. 10/10, would visit again.

In particular, this shop has an amazing collection of glass wear. Tons of rare sets from France and England, many unique highball glass designs. The prices here aren't "cheap" but very fare for what they're offering (but much less expensive than shops like A Touch of the Past). I'll definitely be back and am already mourning the daisy highball glasses I didn't buy.

Albums, faux flowers/greens, comic books, toys, vintage home decor and also for sale is a small selection of new farmhouse decor. The inventory is quite the range of old, very old and new. Separated into little stalls, each unit is rented by a different seller and the presentation is beautiful. The staff at Quaker Antique Mall are helpful ~ however you are followed around a bit but I suppose they just want to make certain nothing is leaving the mall without money exchanged.

The store is great. I've been shopping here for years and, like any thrift store, it can be hit or…read moremiss, but I usually leave with something. They generally have very nice items at good prices, and I've donated to them several times over the years because I support the cause. However, after a recent experience, I won't be donating to them again. Donations close at 4 p.m., and I arrived at 3:45 pm. I was told they were already closed. I showed them the time on my phone and pointed out that it wasn't 4 p.m. yet, but the employees rolled their eyes, gave me attitude, and only reluctantly accepted the items. There are plenty of other thrift stores in the area that are happy to accept quality donations and don't treat people who are trying to give nice items like dirt. I'll continue shopping here because the store workers are wonderful, but when it comes to donating, I'll be taking my things elsewhere.
