The service at the Stonebridge cleaning store was subpar, primarily due to the attitude of the person running it, Kim. I visited on December 8 to get pants hemmed, and Kim quoted a 3 to 4-day turnaround. However, it took until December 17 for the work to be completed. When I picked up my pants and mentioned leaving a bad review, Kim's indifferent response was 'thank you', which highlights the lack of care for customers and service quality. I've always had great service. My clothes always come back looking pristine. IMO, the prices are a little high, but worth it.

Stonebridge Cleaners quality work and care for service has gone downhill over the past few years. Today, I picked up a king size quilt I had dry cleaned. I requested a gentle cycle and gentle dry cycle. All of the edges on my VERY expensive quilt were frayed and ruined. I showed it to the person at the front desk and he could only tell me it was washed on a gentle cycle as I requested. I asked for my $40 back they charged me to clean the quilt. However, maybe I should ask for a few hundred dollars back to replace it because it is ruined. Furthermore, it is not crisp, clean, and well taken care of how they used to dry clean products. The man at the front desk could have cared less. He refunded my money, but did not even apologize or offer anything extra. I would not recommend this cleaners and will not return. read more

I had a terrible experience today when I went to pick up two duvet covers. First, they washed them and didn't iron them. I wasn't notified that, in addition to charging $25 to wash them, I would also be charged another $20 to iron them. My two covers look like they haven't been washed. They look horrible and have an unpleasant smell. They don't look like clean clothes. I think I'll wash them again before using them. Terrible service and terrible customer service. My bed linens smell bad and I paid a lot for everything I left there. I'm very, very disappointed. I don't recommend this laundromat to anyone. read more

Very bad costumer service. Was lied to by steve that works there. Called said it would take one maybe two days to clean bedspread. Went right in and the lady said three days. I said it's my bedspread and I need it asap. She said Friday which was three days from then. Pick up Friday and steve to me it would not be done tell Monday. He told me 1 to 2 days the very first time I talked with him and now it's going to be 6 days. Was rude and didn't care. Asked for a discount and he said no. Not a very good way to treat your first time customers. Will never receive my business or referrals. Got my bedspread done in one day close by. read more

Used for about two years with few problems. Delivery timing was off a few times, a bedspread took way too long to get back. Recently had a silk shirt scorched (you know, that shiny look). Next time in, they used some type of cleaning fluid to remove a stain, and it discolored the front of the shirt. Our next time in we asked that they reduce the heat when pressing our silk goods. The gentleman at the desk generally told us we were lying, and the damage was done at another cleaner. We had never been to another cleaner with these items, so no. He was insistent that we were lying and blaming them for something they could not have done. We weren't asking for anything so there was no reason to be so defensive. We have since found a more accommodating cleaner that has a much higher customer service standard. I would pass on these guys! read more

I just wanted to let you know why you lost a customer that has been doing business with you for almost a year. I don't spend that much, only about $120.00 a month. I now travel a lot in my work. I come in late Friday night, leave on Sunday or Monday. I found out that you do not clean on Saturday. No big deal. I figured I could alternate dropping off the suits each week and picking up. I asked for another bag to be able to do this. Was told that your store only gives one free bag to a customer. I said fine. I will buy another bag. They said you do not sell bags either. Since your store cannot meet my needs or even want to try to meet my needs, I am looking for another dry cleaner, even though I do not want to. For the cost of one bag (which I am willing to pay for), you have lost a customer. This is not an example of customer service. read more

I went in and dropped two items off for alterations on Tuesday afternoon hoping to have them in a couple of days for a trip I was taking the following week. I was told Friday they would be ready. I went in on Monday around 2pm and the young lady acted like she I was speaking another language. She looked up my name, my phone number....nothing. FINALLY she goes to the back to ask and another guy comes out and tells me the alteration lady said she didn't want to do it because the same thing would happen. ???? Anyway I asked why didn't someone call or something??? It's been almost a week! There goes them being ready for my trip. :-/ Needless to say their communication sucks. I'll never return. read more

This is an update to the review I wrote 11/10/17 about my ruined comforter. I returned to Stonebridge Cleaners on Nov.13 with my defective comforter and the bill for the new one that I had to buy to replace it. The manager was very polite, told me the person who writes checks was not in that day, but when it was written, he would call me. I didn't hear from him, but returned to the cleaners 11/17 anyway to pick it up. The check was ready, and so he gave it to me. Once again, he was very polite and courteous. He told me the company's policy is to always make good on any problems with customers' articles, if they were at fault. I assured him that I would add to my first review in a positive way, and that I was very happy with the outcome. That's what I call excellent customer service. read more
