You show up for an MRI on narcotic pain meds, they have you sign a document while under the "influence" that says you "MAY" incur additional charges. Turns out MAY is MUST MUST MUST. I was told by the billing that if I didn't pay immediately (I just got the bill and still had two weeks to pay), they would refer me to collections.
