Our event planners were fantastic and addressed every detail in a professional manner. The staff at the UAW treated my daughter's wedding as if it were their own. There was no task too small or too great; everything was done to perfection. The food was second to none. Two weeks later, our guests were still raving about the wedding. We couldn't have made a better choice; I would highly recommend this facility for any important function. Some of our guests enjoyed lodging at the campgrounds in its natural beauty, while others enjoyed staying at the lodge or apartments. I was happy to see guests take advantage of some the many amenities such as the game room, swimming pool, hiking and biking through the untouched nature trails, and naturally, golfing at the infamous UAW Black Lake Golf Course.

The men running the build at the park even went as far as gifting my kids with stuffed animals because the amusement park was closed and they found our we were there for Kayla's 6th birthday. Even Garland has a Twighlight special! No way would we spend 70.00 for 9 holes after spending what we did today!!! They just LOST business!! Unbelievable, I have never played a golf course that doesn't work with their PAYING customers!!! NEVER! This is an up north course that thinks they are Treetops .. lol... Even Treetops works with their paying customers. We have been coming here for years. WTH are they thinking? They must have more money than they no what to do with! That's okay, because there are a ton more golf courses around. I loved Cedar Valley, bilut I can always find another one.
