Mr. Casey was very apologetic and confirmed that had he caught them in the act, I'd still have my stuff. The one caveat I took from that experience is to never get a storage unit that can't be seen from the road. The storage rates are competitive with other storage units in town. They have 50-60 units in varying sizes.

My tiny storage unit was supposed to be $60 according to THEIR sign on their building, it was $90... plus insurance which made it over $110 a month for a 6x10. Super expensive. NOT ONLY THAT but most importantly it is supposed to be climate controlled and it isn't. Whatever the temp is outside is what it is inside. My stuff got mold on it even though we paid for inside climate controlled storage. There is also rat droppings and dead cockroaches everywhere so it is obvious they have a pest problem.
