There's limited seating inside and it seems like they do a large carryout and call in business. I think this may be a small franchise as there are several listed in the area. Service was a little frosty. She didn't offer any information about the products and I felt a little pressured to make a selection. The price was fairly low and she did say she could heat up my kolache if I wished, which I agreed to. It came out quickly. It was a cute little pastry, very uniformly shaped. The yeasty bread around the filling was very soft and aromatic, definitely my favorite part. The eggs were also a pleasant texture and very hot. I didn't detect much cheese and unfortunately I thought the bacon was 1) in very teeny tiny pieces and 2) slightly undercooked -- very chewy and still pale. I tried to eat around it. Overall, good pastry/bread and eggs. I'd probably try a different meat if I ordered one again. The sweet options are also interesting looking!

They microwave them but I was hoping they would be under a heat lamp or something for a more uniform warmth. I could see how this could be an issue so I wouldn't even consider this a real "complaint". 100% recommend this place for a tasty little lunch!

I first stumbled on these yummy cookies at my work, and they were really good! I fell in love with the cookie Oreos and cream! Then I realized how far and few and in between that that flavor came around and I was very disappointed. Then I learned about how often the flavors are rotated and how rarely I could get that flavor. Then I had seen that they had like a Tiramisu flavored cookie, or so I thought, because tiramisu is my favorite cake ever. So as I was coming home from work and stop by crumble wanting something sweet, I ordered these cookies and didn't really think much of it and I set them on my sweatshirt and my bag in the front seat of my car well while I was driving and I guess the cookies cuz I got like two boxes full of and the cookies came to like 60 something dollars so that's when I got home and seen that the tiramisu literally had leaked all over my new Comfort hoodie that cost $80 and I was like OMG then it got all into my MK bag and I was so mad I could not see straight because now we're messing with like hundreds of dollars cuz I had no idea that a cookie would be in a liquid. That's what I was so mad I called the store out in Arnold when I got home where I got the cookies and he's like yeah you can call the owner and she'll be back I guess tomorrow or left a message and gave me her email or whatever I emailed her a couple times and never received a message back. So to make matters worse! So as I went and put my new hoodie downstairs by the washing machine to wash it and quickly ran upstairs to rinse out my entire MK bag with all my wallet and makeup and Essentials inside, my neighbor's mongrels decides to eat my freaking brand new $80 hoodie from Comfrt! So yes I take pictures and then I did email this owner franchisee whatever but no she never got back with me and she never refunded me the order or anything to make up for it so I would certainly appreciate that next time a freaking cookie is supposed to be liquid that somebody let us know about it! Because whoever thought that a cookie, would be liquid?! And that it could potentially leak out if I'm driving and not paying attention and just I'm tired get out of work and not putting them in the back seat when I have two car seats in there and groceries, and I just happened to put them on my hoodie not thinking that a cookie is going to leak out everywhere and it would just be nice to know! And it would be especially nice that when something like this happens that you at least get a response when you reach out a couple times about an issue like this! Because if I was knowing that it was a liquid cookie and a potential leak could happen I would have took the time to put them on my floorboard instead of just carelessly tossing them on top of my hoodie! So, if you're going to sell these cookies especially at such a high price and my items cost me such a high price to me, then you know all too well about liking high dollar items!! But you know let us know hey your cookies could possibly leak because nobody can think cookies could leak in the first place! That's like me saying ice cream won't ever melt But a cookie is a cookie in the end...unless liquid...still good....maybe not $7-8 good...so thank goodness they have rewards. This is why they don't ever have a line going around the building...and in my case, an unhappy customer doesn't return too often.

It had been years since we had visited, and we were excited to spend the day walking around the little town and enjoying a meal at one of the places it's known for. We arrived around 11 a.m., and it was the perfect timing. There was plenty of parking, and we were able to walk right in and get seated. After lunch, we spent about an hour shopping around town, and when we came back through, the parking lot was packed and the sidewalks were much busier. I would definitely recommend arriving earlier if you want a more relaxed experience. Even though it was August, the weather was surprisingly beautiful, with temperatures in the low 70s, so we decided to sit out on the veranda. It was such a great choice. The view was peaceful, there was a nice breeze, and it felt like we were enjoying lunch somewhere special rather than just sitting inside a busy restaurant. It made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Our waitress was wonderful--very attentive and friendly. We must have been on the same wavelength because every time I asked for her opinion between two choices, she picked the exact one I was already leaning toward without me telling her. Her recommendations were spot on! We both ordered the trio, which allows you to choose three items from a selected menu. We each started with the white chili, and it was perfect for the cooler summer day. It was warm, comforting, and full of flavor. For my main dish, I chose the turkey melt on a croissant. The croissant was flaky, buttery, and absolutely delicious. I'm trying to cut back on carbs, but that plan went out the window because it was just too good. I did save half of the sandwich for the ride home, but there was no way I was leaving that croissant behind! My bestie ordered the chicken salad croissant, and she loved it as well. She said the chicken salad was flavorful, moist, and delicious, and the croissant made it even better. Of course, we couldn't leave without trying dessert. The Blue Owl is famous for their Levee High Apple Pie, but neither of us were really craving apple pie that day. Instead, we went inside to look at the dessert display, and that might have been the hardest decision of the whole visit. Everything looked amazing! I was torn between the chocolate cream pie and the French silk, and ultimately chose the French silk. It was very smooth and rich, and the flavor was delicious. My only complaint was that I personally would have preferred more whipped cream on top, and the crust was a little firmer than I like. It wasn't bad at all--it just wasn't my favorite dessert choice. If I went back, I would probably try something different next time. My bestie chose the gooey butter cheesecake, and that one was a winner. The crust was made from a gooey butter cookie, and it was such a unique and delicious twist. Overall, we had such a great day in Kimmswick. It was the perfect little escape before summer ends and school starts back up. A beautiful walk through a charming town, great conversation with a best friend, and a delicious meal made for a wonderful day. We're already looking forward to coming back!
