I had one of the most unprofessional and downright rude experiences I have ever had with a so-called "hospitality" business. I called Fox & Hounds to speak with the manager about a reasonable matter, only to be sent in circles by their staff.
The first staff member told me to call back at 2pm to speak with Barry (the manager). When I did exactly that, a second staff member told me Barry actually leaves at 2pm and I should call back at 8am the next morning. Dutifully, I called back at 8am as instructed - only to get the same staff member from the first day, who now told me to call back after 2pm.
When I challenged her on giving me conflicting information and providing such inconsistent directions, she became extremely defensive, sarcastic, and raised her voice, flatly refusing to pass me through to the manager. I was effectively lied to, misled, and spoken to in an appallingly rude manner.
This establishment clearly does not understand the meaning of hospitality. The staff here treat paying customers as an inconvenience, show zero accountability, and have no respect for basic courtesy. If this is how they handle something as simple as a phone call, I dread to imagine how they treat guests staying on the property.
I will never stay here and strongly urge others to spend their money elsewhere. Good luck running a business with such disgraceful staff attitudes - you will need it.
