Very suspect selling practices. Placed an order only to have them duplicate the order and PayPal won't dispute it. When I received the order confirmation and saw the duplication I cancelled immediately, same day, and contacted PayPal same day. WARNING: All I did was LOOK on their website, had 1 item in my shopping cart, clicked PAYPAL for payment option, but hadn't authorized transaction yet as I was searching to see what shipping was. Checked on Amazon and found same item HALF the price with FREE shipping. SO I deleted my shopping cart and left website. I then received an email from PAYPAL reminding me that if I wanted this item to RETURN to website and finish transaction. I had no intention of buying the item, so I didn't return. A few hours later, the transaction went through!! I did not authorize this purchase and I immediately filed a fraud claim with PayPal (which is another acrobatic feat of jumping hoops, and endless ways of PayPal trying to get rid of customer by sending us off on treasure hunts for this link or that link) and I finally managed to send off a claim. The following day it was denied! Even though I had PROOF by the email that I didn't finish transaction. STORM MEDIA is unethical! No response to my emails (Paypal told me to resolve issue with them) and I tried to explain to PAYPAL that this company is a fraud using a gmail account. After all, what company uses gmail? I received an email confirmation from "Goals Shopper" a third party company they use to sell their product. By April 1st I still had not received my product or a shipping date and contacted "Goals Shopper" and immediately received an email apologizing for the delay and if I don't receive the product within 3 days to contact them again. Of course the product never arrived and I never heard from them again after contacting them for a 2nd time. I contacted my bank's fraud department and filed a claim. Filed a dispute with PP today and hopefully they will be able to return my funds. I agree with others that FB should vet people and vendors who put up ads on the FB page. It seems if they are providing a venue for crooked, unethical vendors to ply their wares, then they should share the responsibility when they do wrong. An ad popped up on Facebook for a breathable bra. This seemed good for the summer. I ordered one and because I had a feeling it might come from China I ordered a 3XL instead of my regular XL. I ordered it in July and it finally showed up today. This bra is designed to be worn by a 10-year old girl that hasn't hit puberty yet! It's miniature! The 6 inch square black plastic envelope had nothing but the bra in it. No invoice - nothing. I want PayPal to help me get a refund but they will ask that I contact the seller first. this merchant Storm Media is very unethical! The reason why because I did not complete the shopping cart on the "Guard Your ID roller Stamp", because I felt the shipping was on the high side. I then left and close the shopping cart without checking out, because I believe I can get it cheaper somewhere else. The total quoted to me on the smallest roller stamp plus shipping was close to $19 !!! I can recall the shipping is not cheap. Shortly after, I received an email from my Paypal saying the transaction has been completed. I was caught by surprise because I remember I did not complete the shopping cart. It was automatically completed by Storm media sales funnel website. After much research, the exact similar stamp only cost half, and some even cheaper than what this storm media quoted me. The stamp took more than 1 month in order to reach me after I have paid so much on the shipping. I have raised a dispute with Paypal. I will never buy anything off Facebook sponsored ads in future.
