I did ask for the fries to be extra crispy which they weren't as crispy as I would like, however I truly enjoyed the meal. I do consider myself a foodie and therefore I will critique the meal. The fries could have been more crispy and the sandwich could have a bit more sauce as it was a tiny bit dry. The Sandwich was $18, half of the bloomin onion was $7.25(which by the way I loved it was already pulled apart and not in onion form). I did have a couple refreshments as you see by the bill which came to a total of $70.75 before taxes and tip. The pool tables look as if they're brand new and same goes for the cues and balls. The entire venue was sleek and extremely clean. There were many tv's playing a variety of different sporting events. I didn't even notice until we were leaving but there's also some slot machines! My friend said that on weekdays it's always empty and it was exactly that. We were the only ones playing pool along with a few others at the bar. Apparently it does get packed on weekends though! Also, it was nice that we could order pizza from the place next door and bring it to our table at Doolys and eat there. Where I come from (Toronto) that would be a big no-no, no outside food allowed. On a side note, the pizza and fries were great from the place next door. Overall great tables and we had a great time shooting around. We were there for almost 3hours and the bill came up to be $24 (also ordered a pitcher of soft drink) so it was very affordable. So, here I went to check things out and it's just not great. Definitely more updated than PEI. On the plus side, I was super happy that it was live tables and they had roulette. But, it was quite the surprise and extremely disappointing when I went to play and it was a $15 minimum (which isn't the issue!) but they only gave me 3 chips. They don't break it up. WHAT?! We were headed towards the $9.99 buffet, but it was unfortunately closed. So, we tried the Hub City Pub directly by the slots instead, and boy were we surprised! We arrived at 8:25 and was told the kitchen will be closing at 8:45, but we got our food before 9 pm and were pleasantly impressed especially by the Surf n Turf (NY Strip - Medium Rare - topped with tiger prawns, asparagus and a cup of VERY fresh garden salad). The server was very funny and friendly even though we looked pooped from a whole day's worth of driving (zombie eyed, drooped shoulders and slouched into our booth bench). Didn't have the time nor the change to spare for slots, but the drinks are free (soft drinks)! Cheers!
