Shopping for years at this store. The service and inventory were always good until recently. The inventory is always low now and the service is an I don't really care attitude. I've changed stores now and have a better experience. I believe the issue is management along with ownership. read more

Oh, where to begin. I looked forward to this store opening for quite a while and, at first, it was wonderful. You could sample all the different juice flavors, everyone was nice and knowledgeable and the place was clean. It all went downhill very fast. For starters, the atomizers in the sample juices are all burned out and Stormy's doesn't seem to care to replace them. There's no point in sampling juice anymore. The atomizers have been burnt out for so long that vaping them is akin to inhaling a chemical fire. Don't bother. Also, on my last two trips I had a bad experience. The First Bad Experience I stopped in to purchase a battery. The employee accidentally rang up and bagged a different battery. I didn't notice until I got home and by the time I got home, Stormy's was closed. The next morning, I took the new, unopened battery along with the receipt back to Stormy's and explained what had happened. The manager (not Carolyn, she's the owner) told me in no uncertain terms that Stormy's did not give refunds. Ever. For any reason. I understand that policy, but this situation was different. The guy who made the original mistake happened to be there and remembered the situation, but they still refused to take back the battery. I did finally get to exchange it, but only after pointing out repeatedly that the mistake was not mine and that I should be able to make a purchase with confidence rather than having to thoroughly check my bag before I leave the store to ensure that no one there made any errors. After all, this isn't Taco Bell. Also, the boy who made the mistake was only willing to take the battery back once the manager was busy elsewhere--and the entire time he was glancing at the manager and whispering, "I'm not supposed to do this. I'm not supposed to be doing this." I hightailed it out of there. I now buy the same batteries that they charge $27.50 for online for $15.00. The Second Bad Experience My wife received a text on her phone that Stormy's was having a sale in which you could get 25% off one regularly priced item. She wanted to go, so we went. She asked if that "one item" clause included kits and was told yes, it did. She selected a kit and we bought it, but when we looked at the reciept we noticed we did not get 25% off. We went back in the store and the employee explained that the discount applied only to "regularly priced" items. All of the kits had been discounted $2.00 so they did not count. Did they tell us this as we were making the purchase? No. She decided she wanted to return that kit and buy a single battery instead (this was before we knew we could get them much cheaper elsewhere). Apparently the employee had given her 25% off one of the batteries in the kit the first time. He tried to complete the return as an exchange and the whole thing turned into one big mess. I'm pretty good with math, and we kept getting refunded the wrong amount. Lo and behold, instead of doing the return and exchange as different transactions, he was trying to do them as the same transactions. It took four transactions and the help of a manager before we were able to just get our single battery and go home. Although, to their credit, they didn't do that whole "We don't do returns" song and dance that I was expecting after the first experience. In conclusion, I'd have to recommend using Stormy's only in emergencies when you just don't have a few days to wait for shipping from online retailers. Oh and just for reference, most online retailers have a return policy for DOA items and the like. I wish I had more positive things to say because the owner is a lovely woman who is very polite and professional. Unfortunately, all it takes is a couple of bad experiences to turn off a customer. My friend bought $100 worth of stuff from here in effort to help me quit smoking. After telling the salesperson what I smoked, etc, she recommended a liquid (they have many types and strengths). Impeach time I tried it I coughed, sweated, and almost passed out!!! She was told if I didn't like it they would exchange it so - I go by with unopened, sealed bottles, and receipt. The salesperson just said, "we don't exchange liquids". I explained that is not what we were told. She pretty called me a liar so I asked for the owner. Long story short - same result! Forget this place! I recently purchased an atomizer here, and the next week put in a second order. Unfortunately, I didn't realize in addition to my newly ordered items, the atomizer I had purchased the week before was still in my shopping cart. I emailed only a few hours later, before the order was shipped, and they would NOT refund the double-ordered item! Most Vape shops have tough "return" policies, but thiis is ridiculous!! What can I say about Stormy's? I love this place. After 20 years of smoking an average of a pack and a half a day, I finally decided to trying vaping. The first person I met was Stormy the owner of the business. She greeted me with a big smile and was very knowledgeable about her products. The business is located off northside drive and offers a very relaxing environment. It has a juice bar so that you can try the various flavors they offer before buying. The staff that she hires are very energetic and friendly; always willing to help. I started qith one of their beginning vaping kits which came with a tank a battery a charger and a bottle of e-juice. After a few months of enjoyingbit I moved into the variable voltage mods and am now into mechanical mods. Vaping has gone from a way to stop smoking to an all out hobby of mine. Stormy's offers something for everyone. I am not an employee of Stormy's, but I try to come in regularly to learn about the new products they have on hand. For those interested in building your mods they even offer a help station to use to learn how to build the most efficient coils for your mods. Stop in sometime and say hello. Yes, there are negative reviews. There is not one business that can make every customer happy. However, as for myself I could not be happier with the excellent service that Stormy's has given me. I don't write reviews but this company pissed me off more than once. Stormy's is GREAT if you're BUYING something. The guys there are very friendly and so willing to help you with all your buying questions. But the minute there is a problem with their product they don't know who the hell you are and at times don't even exist. I went in there for a problem and exact words "never heard of that before"..."don't know what to tell you"...SERIOUSLY. and then when I talked to another person behind the counter he came up with the lamest reason in the world like I'm an idiot who never used these things before. Hello been vaping before your business even started selling on forums alone. Then I had another problem with the charger I just bought less than 2 weeks earlier. Called and left a message at their phone # that is NEVER answered. It has been almost a week and it's like they don't exist..NOTHING. even though when you want to buy something they call you the next day. HORRIBLE. A friend of mine, who has been vaping even longer and makes his own liquid sometimes, wanted to try their perfect storm eliquid. Ok he is picky and only gets flavors from companies he has tried or have high rating. He sent a msg on the site to ask if they make it themselves or who actually makes the liquid. We know they sell innevape but who makes perfect storm. Wow got a reply next day b/c he indicated he wanted to buy but the reply was....we don't make it. it is from a very reputable lab here in the USA...SHADY at best. to us that just means they make it in house or get it from china. They must go through "the customer is always wrong, an idiot, there is nothing ever wrong with our products" training. If they do this to a local store customer, I can imagine what they do to online customers. I would give them a 1 star rating but I love their liquid bar, and they are really nice and friendly to you when you have no problems . I started in March 2016, I have had multiple problems with the devices. The first one last a week past the warranty, the second lasted within the warranty and was replaced. The one that was replaced lasted 4 days out of warranty and I had to purchase a new one. It does not work right! It just shuts off have had it less than 24 hours and they will not exchange it. This is poor business period! They say as long as it turns on, when they can turn it on... it can't be exchanged or replaced! I will order my stuff from the internet from now on.
