He is a horrible doctor with no bedside manner or personality. For the past several years that I have gone to his office I have had the unpleasantness of having to see him maybe two to three times, and that was forced upon me because the nurse practitioners were booked. I have purposely gone out of my way, even when extremelyy ill, to avoid having to see him. Below is a message that I sent him today 1/19/18 It is in response to him sending me a message that I would be dropped as a patient after I used a curse word while speaking with a nurse who was incapable of helping me yesterday. "No need for your message, because in case the nurse didn't relay all of my "vulgar language", I had also stated that I would no longer being using your office. For the several years that I have been to your office, Dr Herbowy, I have had the unpleasantness of having to see you maybe two to three times, and that was only due to the fact that none of the nurse practitioners were available. You're a horrible doctor with no bedside manner or personality, so I purposely made all possible steps necessary to avoid making an appointment with you. Please relay to Casey that the pearls, which I have repeatedly told your office and any provider I have seen that they do not work, have of course... NOT WORKED SINCE PICKING THEM UP LAST NIGHT! I went to the hospital thinking I had pneumonia because of all the symptoms I had, one of them being my cough. A cough that has pulled all of my abdominal muscles, has me seeing stars/specks of light, is causing migraines and making it feel like I am going to pop a vein in my head, is making my ribs and back feel like they are going to crack, has me on the verge of losing my voice, and to top it all off... I am unable to hold my bladder!!! I am literally wetting myself as an adult 26yr old woman because neither you or Casey could be bothered to be professional health care providers and help me with a cough syrup or any other kind of suppressant besides the pearls. Dr. Smith is the most dedicated, knowledgeable, caring doctor on the face of the planet. We live in a society today where the majority of doctors treat the symptoms and not the underlying issue. Dr. Smith's approach is completely contrary to this. His goal is to find out what precisely is causing your problem and either getting rid of that or treating that, instead of just handing you a prescription and calling it a day. Just in the very first visit alone, he spent 3 hours plus with us. He personally made phone calls to insurance companies, imaging (MRI) businesses, and other necessary places. Have you ever heard of a doctor who does this? He took time out of a Saturday to personally make a trip to an imaging center in order to get my family member a needed MRI that she normally would have had to wait a week or more for. That same Saturday (which most doctors never work) he spent another 3 hours plus with us to go over his diagnosis and provided a remedy to help my family member. Dr. Smith is dedicated to patient centered care and he truly cares about his patients. Any negative things you may see or hear about this doctor are completely false. Why should you weight my review more then others? Because I don't leave reviews but I simply had to let the world know what an amazing doctor he is.

For one it's misdiagnosis- this quack diagnosis you with something completely different than what you actually have. He makes you believe you're going to die, prescribes medicine which makes you sicker - and he's done this to MULTIPLE children and older adults. He also pushes facilities on people - bad nursing homes for seniors whom just want to go home, he's pushed parents to put their children into homes claiming their children are too sick for them to care for. When a patient or a caregiver ask questions, he's very cold, very blunt, and lies. The employees in his current office are generally very nice, but that's where the kindness ends. This mN should never be allowed to practice medicine.

Dr. Geoffrey Morris is an exceptional diagnostician, and goes out of his way to bring his patients…read morethe best care. He has literally saved my life. I was in excruciating pain. I had a blocked bile duct following gall bladder surgery. My gall bladder surgeon did not diagnose it. I was jaundiced, my liver numbers were through the roof. Dr. Morris diagnosed it immediately and moved mountains until he found the head of gastroenterology at URMC to take me on an emergency basis to do surgery. I will be forever grateful.
