When we toured the school for the first time, we were impressed with the size of the school & huge play areas outside. The kids all seemed to be so happy in every classroom & teachers were very engaged with all of the kids. I highly encourage any parent that is needing childcare to check this place out. It was an immediate yes for us and now that we've been here since May, we are so happy that our girls come here & are so loved by their teachers. As a parent, you can't put a price on your kids being happy, safe & loved!

Robyn helped us potty train her easily and it's been such a loving nurturing environment. LPS staff has been our second family. The teachers are the reason why we chose to bring her here. Teacher Serena deserves a special acknowledgement as she navigated online distance learning in 2020. It was a tough year when she started kindergarten but LPS did an amazing job providing a nurturing and navigating through all the complexities due to COVID. I can't thank them all enough for everything they've done. We also have two little girls both in LPS in teach Sara's class and with Teacher Kathy and Becky! Our girls LOVE LPS. The staff has been there for 20+ years and even teacher Evelyn who retired comes back every now and then to help out when needed. She does this because she loves the kiddos. Robyn is now the Director which is fantastic she's been a teacher for many years and has always communicated effortlessly. Our kids love all the teachers but they absolutely adore teacher Stacey. They talk about her all the time and even ask for play dates and sleepovers with her, that's awesome!!! We are so happy with this preschool and blessed to call it our kiddos second home/family

The facility is spotless and clearly well cared for, which gave me immediate peace of mind. You can tell they take a lot of pride in creating a safe, nurturing environment. One of the things I appreciate most is the open-door policy -- being able to drop in at any time is such a comfort as a parent. It shows how confident they are in the quality of care they provide. The infant room was good, mostly because our baby had an excellent primary caregiver who communicated with us regularly and knew what she was doing (that teacher has since left). However, once we transitioned into the toddler room things really seemed to go downhill. Communication was poor, and we found out by accident that our daughter was being moved into different classrooms throughout the day before her transition date (not ok!). Staff turnover was crazy high, both with teachers and administrators (3 directors in less than two years!). Many of the teachers we liked and who seemed to genuinely care for our child left after only a brief time working there. There doesn't seem to be a lot of investment in hiring, training, and keeping capable staff. I was also alarmed to see that Lily of the Valley has been reported several times to the state or they have failed inspections for being out of ratio. For not having been open that long they've been in trouble a lot. One more thing of note was this center's reliance on tablets and screens in the classroom. I was upset to learn that every single day the toddlers were watching screens and the adults in the room weren't reading books out loud, just using an iPad and a Bluetooth speaker with a video playing. I complained and was told that they changed this practice, but when we were given paperwork for renewing enrollment, there was a consent form for my TWO YEAR OLD to use the internet and tablet unsupervised. So I think that's just the way they do things. I had really high hopes for Lily of the Valley. We've moved on to another preschool, but I hope they can turn things around so people don't keep leaving. The infant care was good though.

I wanted to say that I attribute much of my present success to the advanced education I received at this school. They really encourage children to learn at their own rate, accommodating those who learn faster and those who need extra help. Beth Marshall was my teacher for most of my years here, and I know she no longer works there, but I hope they still teach in that style. The way they let the parents and children set the child's own standards for grading, and have the child assemble their own portfolio and present is unique (as far as I know). We kids felt like we had some say in how we were being taught and had more interest in school than I think any kids in public school had. By the time I entered high school at Amador, the only classes that compared at all in quality were the honors and AP classes. Besides the outstanding education I received, I fondly remember the field trips, holidays, PE classes, electives (enrichment), meditation, etc. It was a very stimulating environment and I'm glad I got to experience it. I am giving 4 stars because I don't know if what I experienced as a child is still the norm for VMS now. For any who care to know, I am now pursuing my PhD in Molecular Bio at UCSD. How much is nature vs. nurture, and how much VMS contributed to the "nurture" aspect, I don't...but looking on Facebook at my VMS classmates, I can say that all of them seem to be thriving as well. Really though, it may be because all of their parents are brilliant and therefore have lucrative careers that allow for them to send their children to schools like this. I don't know. PS-The teachers here (at least the ones I had) really care about the kids. I have seen and corresponded with some recently and was very touched to be so remembered. Thanks, VMS!

Overall, I've been very pleased with how understanding and caring the teachers are (especially Ms. Uzma in the Toddler/Prep class). My child has been having some trouble adjusting to preschool, and the staff is experienced and have been extremely patient with her. When there have been issues, they are brought to my attention right away and resolved. In the past, I've toured several preschools in town but wouldn't trust my kiddos at any of the other schools. I particularly like that they follow the Montessori method of education closely (not all Montessori schools do) and also the new security protocol they have in place really gives me peace of mind. When I drop off my child, I feel she is safe, secure and in good hands. Great value (you are not billed for days that class is unavailable) and wonderful staff in a nurturing, kind environment is the reason why we come to Fountainhead Montessori.

My son…read morehad never been away from me before, so we decided to try Primrose Livermore's Discovery Days--and the experience completely exceeded my expectations. On his first Discovery Day, my son cried almost the entire time because it was his first real separation from mom. But the teachers were incredibly patient, gentle, and loving. They held him, comforted him, and truly cared for him throughout the day. What meant the most to me was how often they updated me--sending pictures and notes through the ProCare app so I knew exactly how he was doing. Being able to see that he was safe and in caring hands helped ease my anxiety tremendously. Since he had such a tough first day, we decided to bring him back for a second Discovery Day to see if he was more ready. This time, everything changed. When my son saw Miss Anna and Miss Sandra, he recognized them and calmed down after few minutes and enjoyed his lunch and snacks. He looked so much more comfortable and ended up having an amazing time! I received tons of photos again, and I could tell from the updates that he was playing, smiling, and really enjoying himself. When I picked him up, he seemed genuinely happy--loving his teachers and even interacting with friends. I left feeling so relieved and confident that he might actually be ready for daycare. Before all this, I had spoken with Adrian, the Director, because I had a lot of questions and concerns as a new mom. She was incredibly understanding and patient, answering every single question with transparency and warmth. After meeting her and seeing how she ran the school, I felt reassured and gained a sense of trust that I didn't have before. Overall, Primrose Livermore made what could've been an emotional and stressful transition into something positive and encouraging. The staff truly cares, the communication is excellent, and the environment just feels safe and nurturing. We're now planning to send our son to Primrose San Ramon once it opens, since it's closer to home--and I'm truly hoping it will be just as wonderful as the Livermore location. If it's anything like our experience here, I know our son will be in great hands.

For the past 2 years, it has been nothing short of a nightmare working with KinderCare on getting my son the proper help that he needs. They would say one thing to my face (just to appease me), and then do the complete opposite when I'm not there. I finally got fed up and found Holy Cross. It was recommended by a couple of mom's from the Livermore Mom's Club and after looking at the reviews here - I decided to make the call and schedule a visit. I was very impressed with the curriculum for the Junior Kindergarten class. All of the teachers and staff have a very sweet, yet stern disposition. And more importantly, the kids loved the teachers and staff and you can see it. Although their approach includes acedemics, their focus is more on the behavioral aspect - teaching young children what's appropriate and not appropriate when they are at school. Plus, with it being Christian-based, learning about the real meaning of Christmas and Easter is just a huge bonus for me and our family. We decided that this is exactly what my son needs. He's also attending a special ed class at Croce Elementry 3 x's a week and there happens to be another child that also attends this class at Holy Cross. It was a no-brainer to enroll him. This is my son's first week and there have literally been tears of joy for how happy he is attending this school. Last night was their Christmas program and as soon as we pulled into the parking lot, my son says 'this is my favorite school!'. This speaks volumes - he never said this about KinderCare. As his mother, I want him to be excited about going to school and learning new things. I want school to be a good experience for him. When he was at KinderCare, he was not interested at all and you could tell he was just not happy. I am beyond elated about how happy he is in this short amount of time. From the parent perspective, I recieve so much information about what's happening at school and how my son is doing with the teachers and staff. I love being able to email the teachers and/or director and get a same-day response! I have a calendar of the upcoming month on events to be aware of. (I was lucky to find out about picture day the day before at KinderCare) This has been such a great experience, I literally can't say enough good things about Holy Cross.

We have been so pleased since our child began attending Bright Minds. The staff is warm, caring, and kind. A huge shout to Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Edith-our child raves about them and it is evident that they care about our child's wellbeing. Our child enjoys going to school, learns so much, and has made such great connections with the staff and other students. To me, this is so meaningful as we want our child to love learning! Our child is happy and actually wants to go to school. The facility itself is clean, the toys are thoughtfully selected and rotated, the director and owner are kind/caring, there is open and honest communication from staff/teachers/owners/director. They even hold parent/teacher conferences to showcase what our child was working on, areas of growth, and progress. Specifically highlighting our child's strengths in the process. They have had concerts and halloween events which are extremely well thought out and executed, leaving an impression on children and families alike. There is structure and routine in our childs day. Our child knows what to expect and what times things are going to happen. Our child (as do many preschoolers) really thrives with this routine and structure in place. The class and environment are not hectic or chaotic, the staff has great classroom management. Our family went through some very challenging times and Bright Minds showed up ten fold for our family. Check-ins, asking if we needed anything, and accommodating anything that we needed. For this alone, our family will always be grateful for the staff, owner, and directors at Bright Minds. Anyone can become an educator, but being genuine, compassionate, and caring, during the hardest times really does showcase the nature of the staff here. Three years ago my wife and I were having our first child and as every parent does we had major concerns on just the right fit of a school for our daughter and for us as well. We wanted to find a place that would care for our little girl as much as our friends, family, and we care for her. So after asking several friends in and around the Livermore area we kept hearing of a place called story land. It was also highly recommended by her sitter at the time as one of the schools that is at the top of the list for cost and caring. My wife was very hesitant to allow just anyone to watch our first but after seeing the school and meeting Elena and the teachers that our daughter would be taught, raised, cared for by (for more hours a week than we have her at home it seems) the decision was never easier. You see there is just that something about this business that gives you that comfortable mind that a parent needs when having their child watched by some one other than a family member. The teachers and staff at story land seem to genuinely care about the students! It's been about two years now since our daughter started and we are excited to have her little sister starting there soon as well. Our first daughter loves the Spanish enrichment class that she is in and has surprised us by speaking to us using Spanish words here and there. It's rather impressive when a school can get "it" just right. If you are looking for a place to have the kids in where they are cared about and educated along with a healthy amount of creative/play time at not a high $ amount this is the place. read more

Storyland School has been an intricate part of our children's lives for the past 10 years and we can think of no one else that we would have entrusted to potty train, read to, care for, teach and love, than the staff at Storyland. Elena Mannwieler, the owner, is hands-on and chooses her staff with care; we have never been disappointed with their teachers. Our three children have been taken from diapers to textbooks, as they have learned to read, write and integrate with other children in ways that I, as a public school high school teacher, can respect and appreciate. Our children have earned medals from the City of Livermore for the Summer Reading Game primarily due to the work that they have put in to make our children avid readers. But perhaps the greatest compliment that I have heard is from the Kindergarten teachers that "Storyland knows what it is doing". We have been more than fortunate to have found such a loving, committed school and staff and we have entrusted them completely. My son attends Storyland and LOVES it. The teachers create a supportive learning environment that is engaging and challenging. My son had separation anxiety when starting at Storyland. The teachers were so caring and loving- I knew that while I was away he was in great hands. He has been treated with respect and kindness. The teachers truly make learning fun! The teachers are great at working together with us in the care and the development of our son. They are there to answer any questions and give great ideas how to reinforce the learning that takes place in the classroom at home as well. Elena(the owner) and staff are very approachable and caring. The staff truly enjoys being around the students which is shown through the love and warmth they provide. I have nothing but great things to say about Storyland. My son will be starting Kindergarten in the Fall and I know Storyland has prepared him for it! read more

I have had kids going to Storyland for almost six years now. My eldest, now 8 started with them when she was two years old and continued with them through the kindergarten after school program. I have always loved Storyland and recommended them but the great thing is that it just keeps getting better and better! There is a real commitment to learning, excellence, and it is clear that the staff all care. I love the progress reports. My second daughter is in the pre-k class and is doing so well. They are very flexible about changes for the kids. Potty training for both kids honestly went better at school than it did at home. Everyone is friendly and greets you warmly. My kids have always been happy there and every teacher is wonderful. I plan on having my son attend starting in the summer and look forward to a few more years with them. We absolutely love Storyland School. My son started here at 2 years old, and we have nothing but positive experiences since starting him! The teachers are all so wonderful, warm, and welcoming. There have been a few times my son was upset being dropped off (typical 2-year-old behavior), and he was immediately scooped up, comforted, and held by the window to say goodbye as I left. His learning and development has notably increased, and we're always amazed at what he's learned! He actually cries when we pick him up at the end of the day because he doesn't want to come home! We are so thankful for Storyland - having the peace of mind knowing your child is not only well cared for but thriving while away from home is absolutely priceless. read more

I loved Storyland from the moment I set foot in there. The staff has made the transition for my daughter the easiest I could hope for. She currently goes to a speech class along with Storyland's preschool class. The teachers were attentive to my daughters needs from the start. She has grown so much since she has been there and is so excited to go to school every morning. The teachers give a "progress" report at the end of each month to let you know wheat they were studying for the month and how your child is diong. They always great you with a "good morning" and a "have a nice day" when you leave. Thank you Storyland Staff for helping my daughter grow and learn! read more

After an extensive search for the perfect preschool I chose Storyland for my 3yr old because of the location, great staff, accommodating hours, very clean facility, and curriculum. My son loves his class, teacher, and classmates! I must say being a full time working mother of 2 I can be forgetful at times so I love all the updates through emails! It helps keep me on top of what is going on at school. I also love the daily reports my son brings home with him! I enjoy seeing how my son is progressing on a daily basis. She gave our child so much personal attention and care during those early days, helping him adjust quickly; within just one week, he was running into her arms with hugs every morning. That's when we knew she truly cares for each and every child in her classroom. Ms. Ekhlas is incredibly attentive and communicative. She regularly sends us updates and lots of adorable pictures. It's clear she puts so much thought and effort into creating a nurturing and stimulating environment. Robyn helped us potty train her easily and it's been such a loving nurturing environment. LPS staff has been our second family. The teachers are the reason why we chose to bring her here. Teacher Serena deserves a special acknowledgement as she navigated online distance learning in 2020. It was a tough year when she started kindergarten but LPS did an amazing job providing a nurturing and navigating through all the complexities due to COVID. I can't thank them all enough for everything they've done. We also have two little girls both in LPS in teach Sara's class and with Teacher Kathy and Becky! Our girls LOVE LPS. The staff has been there for 20+ years and even teacher Evelyn who retired comes back every now and then to help out when needed. She does this because she loves the kiddos. Robyn is now the Director which is fantastic she's been a teacher for many years and has always communicated effortlessly. Our kids love all the teachers but they absolutely adore teacher Stacey. They talk about her all the time and even ask for play dates and sleepovers with her, that's awesome!!! We are so happy with this preschool and blessed to call it our kiddos second home/family

Before choosing to enroll him at Little Flowers Montessori I visited five Montessori schools spanning thru San Ramon Dublin and Pleasanton. Little flower Montessori school was the only school that had security that was up to par as well as privacy for check in and check out with a nice play area to match. Upon arriving at Little Flowers Montessori for our walk-through we discovered Ms Leisa was a teacher there. When we saw Ms Leisa, we knew this was the school for us. My son had her at a prior school and we knew how fabulous she is. I am a helicopter mom so I know she puts a lot of time and effort into daily activities, being warm, patient and compassionate with the students. At this point, my son has been attending little flowers for six months. I told Ms Leisa that he barely gets sick at this school vs his previous school he was sick every two weeks. She says that she wipes down the toys every day after the kids leave, we love her! When my son sees Ms Leisa, he brightens up and often times when he is picked up he says "Ms Leisa, Ms Leisa" and doesn't want to go home. We are very thankful to have found Ms Leisa and Little Flowers Montessori!

The school is small (just two classrooms) and the environment is warm and friendly, with the children forming close personal relationships with their teachers and classmates. I personally love the 9:00a to 1:00p schedule, which allows the children to have lunch with their friends instead of rushing home after a short school day. I immediately felt confident that my child would be in good hands. My girls built strong friendships at BEP, learned to be inclusive, and were very well prepared for their next school. They are now in elementary school, but they still talk about their time at BEP and often say it was the best time of their lives. The friends they made there are still their best friends today. As a parent, I feel so lucky to have found BEP as my children's first community. It was a safe, fun, and engaging place, and I would highly recommend it to any family.

They encourage you to drop in and welcome calls to check in, especially in the beginning which was very appreciated as we transitioned. They use an app to periodically share updates and photos about your child(ren). I also love the events they have throughout the year at the school, we get to meet more of the community and experience first hand just how much she loves the school + staff. We've seen her development and social skills progress significantly in one year with their support. We truly feel like she's been surrounded by the best caregivers and educators, we are so thankful to have found Early Years!

From day one, we've felt genuinely welcomed and supported by the kind and dedicated staff. What I truly appreciate is the variety of enriching projects the children get to explore -- from hands-on science experiments to creative art activities, there's always something exciting that sparks curiosity and learning. The daily structure also includes plenty of outdoor play, which my daughter absolutely loves, and it's great to see her come home happy and energized. Another standout for us is the Spanish classes! As a native Spanish speaker, I really value that my daughter can reinforce her Spanish skills at school. It's a beautiful way to stay connected to our roots, and at the same time, it's a wonderful gift to introduce the richness of another language at such an early age. The teachers manage to weave learning into every part of the day with so much care and warmth, both in their interactions with the children and with us as parents. Global Village truly feels like a nurturing community where children can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We're so grateful to be part of it!

At first, I was really surprised to see a stained couch, not other friendly notes or things (live activity list, books, pictures, good notes etc) in the entrance and waiting area. There is a plastic/Glass wall on the side behind which the person sits to say Hi to you!!! The you walk in to an office room, equally disgusting and dull. Instead of showing me real kids doing stuff or just letting me ask stuff, they have a really long BOOK of photos from a time when kids did something and they captured (perhaps). Then the lady emphasized so much on potty training (FYI, it's not okay to force, you should be polite and offer good suggestions no press the requirement on a parent). Then we walked through the hallway, has like 4-6 class rooms may be, small playground, class rooms are messy and oddly structured. No diversity FYI! I don't know something about this school just made me want to walk away quickly vs other schools like stratford, primrose, quarry lane or even a home based daycare. It's like I would send another Mathilda here! It's pathetic, needs color, fun, smiles, diversity, cleaner rooms, cleaner entrance for sure, clean that white couch too please.. it looks like a prison! May be cheap but it's terrible to think I could send my kid here for the entire day

We have been so pleased since our child began attending Bright Minds. The staff is warm, caring, and kind. A huge shout to Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Edith-our child raves about them and it is evident that they care about our child's wellbeing. Our child enjoys going to school, learns so much, and has made such great connections with the staff and other students. To me, this is so meaningful as we want our child to love learning! Our child is happy and actually wants to go to school. The facility itself is clean, the toys are thoughtfully selected and rotated, the director and owner are kind/caring, there is open and honest communication from staff/teachers/owners/director. They even hold parent/teacher conferences to showcase what our child was working on, areas of growth, and progress. Specifically highlighting our child's strengths in the process. They have had concerts and halloween events which are extremely well thought out and executed, leaving an impression on children and families alike. There is structure and routine in our childs day. Our child knows what to expect and what times things are going to happen. Our child (as do many preschoolers) really thrives with this routine and structure in place. The class and environment are not hectic or chaotic, the staff has great classroom management. Our family went through some very challenging times and Bright Minds showed up ten fold for our family. Check-ins, asking if we needed anything, and accommodating anything that we needed. For this alone, our family will always be grateful for the staff, owner, and directors at Bright Minds. Anyone can become an educator, but being genuine, compassionate, and caring, during the hardest times really does showcase the nature of the staff here. Huge shout out to Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Eunhee, Ms. Lauren and even the other teachers such as Ms. Stephanie who have shown how much they care. I too work in education, and finding genuine educators like those here at Bright Minds is not easy.
