Brian Fummerton the other pharmacist and manager I believe did the same thing for me as well just yesterday and offered great advice on the meds too. Suggesting things to discuss with the Doctor as Dana has. I realize this may not happen all the time as they are quite busy but I think it says a lot about these people. I have been coming to this pharmacy for years. My doctor's office used to be a couple of doors down…read morefrom it. Recently, my doctor moved her office across the street. Despite the relocation, I still drive over here to get my prescription filled. This pharmacy takes your drug insurance information and enters it into the pharmacy's system. Every time you come, you can either provide your phone number associated with your account or, if you are a regular, the pharmacist will find you in the system without asking a single question. I find that this place often waives the co-pay fee off. I also pay far less than I would at a major pharmacy for my medication. I also like the fact that folks take the time out to show you how things work. In my case, I needed an inhaler for my bronchitis. My pharmacist showed me how to properly use it to provide the correct drug dosage each time. I appreciated it. He will also look at my drug history and confirm changes since my last visit. It's good. The hours of operation aren't like what you'd expect from a major pharmacy. However, they do work nicely for me. It is rare that this place runs out of the drug that you need. When it does, it offers delivery for free. It's a nice touch. I wouldn't change going to this pharmacy unless I move! (134)

I had finished my refill bottle the other day. I thought that I'd grab a bottle from this Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM) in the same plaza. It's crazy that I have never been to this SDM. I visit the Taco Bell across from it fairly often, mainly because I like the drive-thru and crave the Bell. This drugstore is an older store. It doesn't have the new self-checkout kiosks. It's a single terminal with the scanner that's built into the table. There's also a hand scanner for variety. It's got the same setup as my local SDM. It was easy to figure out where everything was at this store. The beauty section greeted me when I entered. I found the soap section quickly. There was a Softsoap sale on bottles with pumps. I went with the Life brand that was much larger in size and didn't have a pump. Done! I browsed. TurboTax seems to go up in price every year. The version that I need is $44. Yikes! I liked the snack aisle. It has a nice variety of chips, popcorn, candy, cookies, and more. The Vachon section stopped me in my tracks. I saw the Passion Flakie box. I had to get it. I haven't had one in eons. I used the self-checkout, as there wasn't a human at the checkout. As soon as I started scanning my items, a human appeared, observing behind me. I found it creepy having him observe what I was doing, but it was also good to know that help was there if I needed it. My PC Optimum barcode scanned fine horizontally. Sometimes, it doesn't like being its vertical self. I then paid with a credit card. Done! It was nice to end my evening on a good note. I got Flakies and liquid hand soap without a hitch. It appears that they really only interested in helping their profits and not people.....do not give them your credit card information as if you have refills they will fill them and charge your credit card. I am aware of that and do not consent for that especially when I saw a senior trying to figure out why this was happening and the explanation they gave him was it was easier? Easier for who? A one star is very generous as they do not deserve any stars.

The sincerity, kindness, and genuineness of the staff, while remaining professional, is what I relish most from my visits to this pharmacy. Service is provided in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, which perfectly suits the Chinese demographic in the area of this pharmacy. The dispensing fee is $6.99, which is extremely cheap compared to other pharmacies--and as a Chinese, I would like to say, we love cheap!! Even with the current inflation, Edmund Pharmacy has not increased this fee. Overtime, as a regular at this pharmacy, the staff has gotten to know bits and pieces about me and my family, who are also regulars. I highly recommend if you live in this area--or even if you live a bit outside this area--to make this place your regular pharmacy. They are super fast with their service and they can give you the drugs within three to five minutes most of the time. The drug dispensing fee is $6.99, which is cheaper than most pharmacy locations out there. In addition, they are very good and fast with the types of insurance and registering you by insurance. Edmund is very kind and stayed a little after work when we came through their door at closing time to get some medication. He took the time to explain the drugs carefully to us and reminded us what we cannot take this drug with (from seeing what other drugs we have on file with him).
