While it is true some people waiting for prescriptions are sick and/or in pain - that doesn't cover a lot of the people I observe. I would urge others to be a little more understanding and remember that the staff is subject to a lot of regulation and they can't control how and when your doctor or insurance will respond to inquiries. For those who have never been in retail environment, think what your day would be like if people who are waiting to talk to you make rude, loud, comments about you. I don't normally interject myself into what someone else is saying, but I've done it twice in this store. Have I experienced mistakes by the pharmacy? Yes. But not often. And mistakes happen. That is why you get an information sheet attached to the prescription bag. That is there for your safety. I have no complaint that could be handled by the staff within their authority. And I give them KUDOs for the work they do and the volume of people they see (people who, like our family, left the pharmacy down the street.)

Jayne is indeed specialized as I experienced less pain with the hard waxing than the sugaring which was done when I lived near DC. I didn't even have radiating skin inflammation feeling thanks to the cooling lotion that Jayne used. I was expecting worse, but the full Brazilian wax was not that painful. The whole process was quick and I didn't feel awkward at all. Melissa has helped me regain self confidence by zapping away the coarse thick hairs, both dark and white. I have had three weeks of two hour sessions to clear the field. Soon, it will switch to one hour and eventually it will be half hour until the problem has resolved. But the dark bristles that plagued me are showing no sign of regrowth at 3 weeks post treatment, and the white hairs are reducing. It will take multiple treatments to destroy the follicles permanently, but if it means smooth, beautiful skin again. I'm in. What does it feel like? Does it hurt? Like all things in life, it is slightly painful. If you're reading this, you are likely used to the pain of tweezingor waxing. If you tolerate that, you'll be fine. There is a little tingle, a little noise (think video game sounds), and then she pulls the hair out. Throughout the treatment, you get wiped down with witch hazel to decrease inflammation and clear the hairs off. At the end of the treatment, you'll get some nice face balm to help take out the sting. It's not an instant fix, and you do have to let your lady beard/mustache grow 24-48 hours to allow the hair to burst through the skin and be able to grasp, though she can grab ingrown hairs too! This is ideal for ladies like me with hormonal hair, guys also who want a clean jaw line, the transgendered community who would like freedom from shaving. I, myself , would like to campaign against the stigma of facial hair. It has always been a source of embarrassment and shame. Ladies, just say yes to yourself. Book an appointment today. She had me stay in the same pedicure chair for my manicure. She just threw a towel over my lap, clipped my nails a little bit and polished them. No soaking, no cuticle treatment, no filing. Just a quick trim and polish. Something I would do for a little kid! Plus, nails weren't even fully coated. I came home and took the polish off. I will continue for a pedicure but NOT a manicure. $55.00 plus a $15.00 tip.

Apparently if you aren't spending big bucks on fake nails or dips, they don't care about your nails. She did not: remove all the old gel polish, trim all the cuticles from each nail, scrap the cuticles off the nails--at all--, clean under the nails, shape the nails evenly. AND...she did not dip the brush in the polish after each nail so some nails have even color, but some nails are lighter than other other due to uneven polish application. Sides of 4 nails have no polish at all. The top coat was applied too thick so it has bubbled on 2 of them. They charged me $25.00. She rushed through the entire process without a hint of care or effort. I complained on my way out, showed them my nails and they asked to "fix it". I said no. I now know how they treat customers and the work they *really* do. I'll take my business elsewhere. Save your money and do it yourself. It will come out better.
