Meet the Business Owner: Tom S.
Tom Strate, CIC, CRM, CWCA is President of Strate Insurance Group. He started the agency in 1978 alongside his father, the late Jack Strate. He spends the majority of his professional time working with manufacturing accounts. His clients include companies with operations in Germany, Japan, Mexico, and Canada. Tom's extensive experience and customer advocacy is the hallmark of Strate Insurance Group's service standard. His risk management approach distinguishes Strate Insurance Group from the average insurance agency trying to sell insurance.
Tom graduated from the University of Georgia, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a major in Insurance and Risk Management. He achieved the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) Designation in 1983, the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) Designation in 2005, and the Certified Workers Compensation Advisor (CWCA) designation in 2012.
