I booked this hotel through the AARP/Expedia site July 4th for a destination in Edmond for a family reunion. It all looked good and I requested first floor accommodations, etc. because my husband had a knee replacement a month ago and I had back surgery in early 2024. I have several complaints about the hotel. First of all, it is not ADA-compliant.The toilet is so close to the floor that it was almost impossible for me or my husband to use it and stand up.The shower has NO grab bars or floor mat so slippage is a problem for elderly people. The WIFI NEVER worked. The mattress was terrible for me as I had back surgery over a year ago. I don't understand where all these 10/10 ratings are coming from. Yes, it was clean. No, it was not user friendly or comfortable. The manager could have cared less and after going to AARP for a refund, he refused. Buyer beware. Do not recommend. read more

I stayed at this location and had zero issues. My room was clean and was refreshed every day. The area around the property is nice and surrounded by plenty of food and shopping options. My room had a microwave and fridge. Free parking and complimentary waffles, pastries, coffee, and juice. Also, the vending machine is priced at 1.00, can't find many of those these days at that price point. Very clean! Smelled amazing upon arrival. Beautiful colors. No pool or spa. Was hoping for a less price being that website said if you booked with booking.com (which I did thru southwest) that it would be about $20 cheapers but very happy with the nice check in guy and the way the room looks and smells. Plus easy to get back to the freeway. Not a fan of unfenced parking. No pets allowed, which I'm glad I didn't bring mine. But glad to know it wouldn't smell like other people's pets. Mike (the manager) was great: responsive, reasonable, and cooperative. Cleaning staff was likewise quite nice and helpful. Place was clean, quiet, and the location was excellently positioned to get to most major streets/highways quickly. Had no issues during our stay (a testament to how proactive Mike was). The only things I wasn't happy with, was that there is no freezer (in the refridgerator), and only one small outside trash bin (other than a dumpster that is not really conveniently placed). For a good stay without spending a fortune, I definitely recommend this place. read more

Best hotel for price EVER! I'm single and felt completely safe with lit-up parking at night. Completely pleased with location. Great shopping & restaurants nearby. Excellent internet, pristine clean, large room with a mini-sofa and desk area, microwave, comfortable bed and pillows. Nice, easy-access to enclosed vending machines and ice machine, as well as a washer and dryer. Great (free) waffle, cereal, and packaged pastries very breakfast. Friendly staff. 100% recommend! We have stayed at the Stratford House Inn several times the last 1.5 years. We have always had a courteous check-in, a very clean room, and a relaxing night's sleep. The wifi and shower pressure are good, the area is quiet, and there are several restaurants nearby. It is also reasonably priced. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area! read more

This hotel wowed me. For a budget hotel, it was awesome. The room was very clean and spacious. The furniture and appliances were in good shape. Clean bathroom. They did things nice hotels do like fold the towels into cute shapes and fold the edges of the toilet paper. Complimentary breakfast. Good WiFi. Laundry facilities (detergent available for purchase at the front desk). Very nice front desk attendant. Parking was a breeze and I had a spot right outside my room. Highly recommended! read more

I don't think I'll probably ever see this town again but I had a fab stay to say the least! Blown out of the water for paying only $65 a night for a standard room with a king bed. I usually freak out when I stay somewhere that is more motel style, you know where the doors lead directly outside like this place. But the only gripe I had was the wasp I eventually found in the room. I sorta flipped out and I guess the neighbors called in a noise complaint. The guy at the front desk was a friendly older gentleman who accommodated our late night arrival and housekeeping was always kind when we saw them in the mornings before beginning our day. All over I've noticed good reviews for this place and they're all fairly accurate. No frills, just clean and when paired with the free parking, wifi, and breakfast--we have a winner folks! read more

We were very impressed with the quality and cleanliness of this hotel, despite it's budget price point. It was nicely decorated, was exceptionally clean, quiet, and the beds were comfortable. Extremely disappointed with this place. Booked a room for my sister during her road trip home from college, just a pit stop to rest for the night. Nowhere on the Orbitz website did it say that she had to be 21 to to stay here. But upon arrival at 11 pm, she was turned away because she's only 19. My husband called the hotel to find out what was going on, and they refused to let her stay. Seriously? It's 11 pm! I understand rules are in place for a reason, but nowhere on the website said she had to be 21. My advice -- spend a few bucks more and stay somewhere that clearly discloses their policies up front so you're not blindsided in the middle of the night. read more

Had a nice stay here until breakfast my second day when two whole families of toothless yokels headed by apparently unmarried women each with a face like a hatchet decided to fix waffles for all her kids and herself while I waited 20 minutes by my lonesome to fix a waffle for myself. Then I got to listen to the toothless yokel women prattle on endlessly about how they'd been coming to Stratford for the last 15 years. I'm not sure a second waffle maker is a substitute for the absence of consideration for those around you, breeding, good manners, and just plain thoughtfulness, but it certainly couldn't hurt. In any case, I'm sure this place is everything the other reviewers said, but this is my first and last visit. read more

We stayed one night while traveling, and didn't get to check in until midnight, so the last thing we wanted was hassles with a dirty room or check-in. Check-in was easy and we were very pleased to find a super clean well stocked cooled room! The rooms smell clean and are not damp feeling. The bed was very comfortable as well! We highly recommend this place to anyone, especially for the price we paid (1/2 of what other hotels nearby charge) and got a free breakfast to top it off! read more
