Great customer service. Street parking is available. It seems whenever I visit the shop....I am preparing for a Baby Shower. lol Last month, I decided to visit the shop to see if I could find mini zipped bags (which they had at a great price). I made DIY snow globes as favors for my grandson's Baby Shower and wanted to fold the directions and place inside the plastic bags. My vision worked out great and the favors were a hit. When I visited the shop in 2010, I was looking for mini incents and incent holders to include in favor bags for my cousin's baby shower. Seems a bit unorthodox to shop at this type of shop for Baby Showers but you gotta do what you have to do for your vision and event. lol read more

Solid record store with fantastic service. I woke up late for record store day and I started calling people for "Relationship of command" and everything was sold out in Fresno. Also if they had one they were not willing to hold a copy for me but I called Strawberry and they were customer friendly. I told them my situation and they kindly saved me a copy and I was on my way. When I arrived they had three copies left and I picked up two but they still had saved one for me. (AWESOME). I'd never been to Merced and Damien recommended some eats and a bar that was adjacent to the record store. Which is a review I can't wait to write lol. Ok.. now I lived in san francisco for just about 22 years and when I came to merced I was brought to strawberry alarm clock by my GF.. it was like walking into a miniture amoeba/haight st. smoke shop/broadway adult store.. basically it was heaven for me.. hahahaha.. but yeah good place to buy used music especially vinyl and hard to find indie music.. you can also sell your old music and dvd's also.. bongs are a little over priced to what I'm used to paying but I would rather buy local then spend the time and extra money going back to SF just for a bong.. don't forget to check out the large selection on incense and oils. read more

Its a cool and cozy place, the clerks are friendly and willing to help...used cd's, LP's, t-shirts, posters its a cool little place!

A few years ago they had plenty of vinyl and at good prices but now they seem to be moving away from the vinyl and if you're looking for alternative rock or indie or really any genre you maybe very disappointed with the limited selection of this store. I do still pop by every 2 months or so and I can usually find one or two items but now I've been going to Tower District in Fresno where they have 3 awesome stores as if this review with 10x the selection. That said owners/employees are nice here and they serve other markets such as tattoo artists looking for ink supplies and other items I'm just not into but you might be so stop by. read more
