My sister currently lives in RVA, but I'm all the way in San Diego. So, when I wanted to send her flowers, Strawberry Fields popped up. I've used them to deliver flowers to my sister on two occasions, and they've been great. Ordering on the phone was an ease, and their staff is very nice and helpful. The arrangements were delivered without a hitch and always beautiful. The delivery fee was around $13-$14, which isn't too bad. Extremely bad experience with this place for flowers. 1. Called twice to confirm morning delivery for bouquet. Flowers don't show up. Call store to figure out what's wrong. "Oh, we never deliver in the morning without special instructions--and there's nothing written here for your delivery. Do you want to cancel your order?" This at 12:20p in the afternoon on the day of my 2-year anniversary. 2. I ordered flowers, no vase. "Put all the money into the flowers", I said, not a vase. Flowers show up with a vase. 3. Flowers start wilting in 3 days--not fresh at all. 4. Flowers were pretty, but way below expectations for the price. Overall a terrible experience. The woman asking if I wanted to cancel my order was beyond comprehension--who would order anniversary flowers and then cancel? I'm out of town and even went out of my way to call the store directly rather than using FTD/Teleflora to make sure the local business didn't have to pay a fee to the booking agent--and it felt like dealing with amateur hour. I go for the awesome collectible gifts. I have not ordered flowers here, but as a former florist I can tell you they do not seem to have a wide selection . I did admire the vases though, such as the over-sized mason jars. The consignment jewelry is severely overpriced. but the items such as Christmas ornaments are adorable and whoever picks them out for the shop has amazing taste. I'll preface by saying I don't usually write reviews, I'm mostly a lurker. BUT, Strawberry Fields was such a great experience, I can't help but spread the word. I went in yesterday after a quick google search, I expected a good impression based off reviews, but I was immediately obsessed! The girl working (I wish I got her name) was so helpful and pleasant to work with! I told her I was looking to get my gf flowers and pointed out a couple flowers that I liked. She asked for my budget and if I was okay with her adding some extra greenery and other flowers, I agreed and told her to just do her thing. She went above and beyond and created such a beautiful bouquet within 15mins, and I was just a walk-in, I didn't call before coming. Needless to say, my gf LOVED the flowers and the cute card I got from them too. I honestly can't wait to go back to look around some more and buy something for myself. I needed a floral arrangement that looked like it didn't come from a shopping center. After looking online at Strawberry Fields I saw how classy the arrangements were and it fit within my budget and they could deliver the next day. Upon checking out online it says please list two color options in case we don't have what is promised on the website. After leaving my color options I felt comfortable about the online transaction. The following day I received a call from Emily asking me if I wanted to add any pink flowers to the arrangement and this was a red flag for me. The original arrangement I chose was orange, that's how the "Abigail" comes online. If they didn't have orange, they were to use purple/blues/creams, but I specifically said no pink. I received a photo of the arrangement from my friend only to find pinks were included. I called and after much back and forth, I was told, that wasn't pink, it just looked like it in the photo. I also was given a list of the flowers used. I'm very disappointed. I felt they tried to blow me off when I complained, but the arrangement looks nothing like what I ordered. read more

I gave her our budget, wedding colors, and a few types of flowers we'd like for our wedding along with a couple pictures I'd chosen as inspiration. She quickly put together ideas that fit within our budget. She really knows flowers and how they complement each other in any type of arrangement. We finalized the order about 2-3 weeks prior to the wedding and she was flexible with adding to and subtracting from the original order. The flowers turned out perfect - they were REALLY beautiful! We received lots of compliments from family and friends on how gorgeous they were. Delivery was on time - early even! I received this beautiful arrangement of succulents and air plants from a gf as a pick me up. After caring for the plants per the instructions provided, I went to move the container from my dining room table to its forever home. Unfortunately, the rusty (but beautiful) container stained my table. I tried everything to clean it, even bleach and all I could do was lighten the stain. The photos below are what remains on my table after cleaning it. I called to let them know what happen and while I didn't expect for them to pay to have my table refinished, although that would be nice, but I definitely didn't expect the response I got. I heard "we have never gotten this complaint before", "the container is supposed to look rusty", "your friend picked out the container", and my favorite..."there is really nothing we can do." Well there is a lot you COULD do, but apparently are choosing not to do. You could at least refund my gf, offer to provide a new container, thank me for letting you know this can happen if maybe the lining is cracked, offer me a store credit...there are plenty of options. They CHOSE to do nothing and that is wildly disappointing given the amount of money they charge for their flowers. The last thing you want when buying someone flowers is to inconvenience the recipient. read more

I used Strawberry Fields, Flowers and Finds as my florist for my wedding. I was extremely happy with the quality of our bouquets and boutinierres. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but I gave them pictures I had found on pinterest and colors that I liked and they made really beautiful bouquets off of little information from me! The one critique I have is the wristlet corsages that were made for the mothers, grandmothers and our mistress of ceremonies fell apart before the ceremony even started. The flowers were not secure. However, given everything else I would still highly recommend them. They were also very well priced, and give you a lot of ideas on how to get the most out of your flowers. For example, I used my bridesmaids bouquets as some of the centerpieces. read more
