Recently I wanted to send a meaningful gift overnight to a beloved relative who is very ill. It was near closing time for area florists. The hospital had said no flowers are allowed at this time. This is a different kind of review for me because I have never been in this shop, I have never ordered flowers from the shop, and I really don't know much about the shop from a personal experience. Here is what I do know. My dad is a 91-year-old gentleman who loves sending flowers to his female relatives on their birthdays, Valentine's Day, etc. He is not always the easiest person to deal with, but clearly this florist is able to understand what he wants and take his order. That's a big plus for me. The real reason I'm hitting them with five stars is their delivery guy. He always calls me to let me know that he's on the way with flowers. This week he called and let me know he was on the way but he was concerned because it was hot outside and didn't want to leave the flowers on the porch. I was at work and I went ahead and gave him the address of a neighbor who I knew would be home. He went ahead and deliver the flowers there. Now here's the kicker. He saw that another florist had delivered flowers to my wife for her birthday as well and went to the house and picked them up off of the porch and brought them to the neighbor who had already delivered the flowers that my father had ordered. It is no secret that I am a big fan of locally owned businesses and I think every neighborhood should have a local florist who is involved in the community, which this owner, Nicole is.
