I decided to select Mile High Physical Therapy, in the Lowry neighborhood. I am glad that I chose this practice. I randomly selected Mile High, after surfing the list of Humana in-network PT providers. After about 10 unsuccessful tries at other practices, Mile High was the only call whereby someone, a human, answered the phone. That was my first clue that they would offer personalized service. I worked with both doctors, Kimberly Houston, and Padeu Wolfe, who seriously compliment each other, well-representing the elegance and ambiance of the minalist modern decor. They use state of the art tools, including the Kinesis cable system, and an elastic flex wand/bar that just fascinated me! Between Dr. Kimberly Houston and Dr. Padeu Wolfe, not only did I work on their sophisticated cable system, and magic wand, I received the most gentle massages in the damaged area, my rotator cup. This was the cherry on the top of my sessions, like having key lime pie after a satisfying meal. In addition, I received a list of diagrams, depicting exercises that I could do at home. Thank goodness that the staff here are always easy to work with and so helpful. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel people should know about my experience…read more I went in because my back was in severe pain. After my adjustment, I initially felt much better. However, after being placed on the decompression table, everything changed. I was unable to get up because my legs began spasming so severely that I could barely move. I was nearly wheeled out of the office. I have never experienced anything like that in my life, and it was honestly terrifying. What disappointed me even more was what happened afterward--nothing. Despite experiencing what I considered a significant medical event in their office, no one called or checked on me later that day to see if I was okay. A simple follow-up phone call would have shown compassion and concern for a patient who left in far worse condition than expected. I understand that not every treatment has the desired outcome, and I know complications can happen. My concern is with the complete lack of follow-up after such a serious incident. Patient care shouldn't end when someone walks out the door, especially when they almost couldn't walk out at all. I hope they improve their post-treatment follow-up procedures so no one else feels as overlooked as I did.

His muscle testing is really helpful and makes a big difference once he makes adjustments. Unlike some practitioners, he doesn't seem to want to drum up business but help as much as possible. He's very down-to-earth but extremely knowledgeable. I'm so thankful we found him. He just relocated his office from Cherry Creek area to his home so it's super easy to get to and schedule.
