I've had EXTENSIVE dental/periodontal work performed over the past 50 years & I can tell - immediately - if a dentist or assistant is competent, confident & capable. So when a (very young) Dr Jeff came in to rebuild a molar that had disintegrated, I had my doubts! But this guy quickly demonstrated he was not only confident, but incredibly knowledgeable & capable as well. He & Emily diligently worked through their lunch hour to first prepare, then systematically rebuild a tooth that was virtually non-existent. I simply can't say enough about their level of thoroughness, compassion and professionalism. If you're looking for excellent dentistry with great people, don't overlook this place! This is the absolute worst dental office I've ever stepped foot in. They go through Dentist weekly. Their staff is new daily, the assistance's don't even act like they're out of schooling. I was cut very bad and bleeding all over the place and they acted like that was a common thing. My root canal was not done properly. Had to go to a different dentist and get a whole new root canal done. When I try to speak to a manager they told me the manager was out to lunch. I waited three months to hear from somebody never did called back spoke to a girl by the name of Mariah who is supposedly a manager ,she told me she had to speak to the regional manager, Taylor. Taylor was supposed to call me and never did. I cannot believe this place is even still in business. Please read the reviews on Google. They're a little horrific, based on my experience. I feel as a person that they were great but what I don't understand is since I am single mom it's hard to work around there schedule as well as my own. I had lemons for cars and they were not understanding at all living on limited income I was talked about loudly as if I wasn't there and top it off went to make another appt they completely dismissed me. DONT GIVE THEM ANY CASH AT ALL ! I prepaid for gas a month prior to my 2 extractions. Cause it took them a month to get me in. Having a month to schedule me they give me a dentist who doesn't believe in gas ! If I prepaid for gas why schedule me with someone who doesn't believe in gas ??? So I had more pain during my extractions. So I ask for my 139.00 refund. They told me 2 weeks I'd get a check. It's now been a month and a half. When I call for my refund they treat me like crap and lie to me about my money. After a month and a half do I get my refund? Hell No. They tell me corperate wishes to discuss where my money is. I say there's nothing to talk about ! Just send my check to the office so I can pick it up. They say no. Corperate handles that and after being told 2 weeks it's going on 7 weeks and still I have no refund. I've been going to them for 10 years. I use to love them. Now I feel like they scam and steal being that they won't give back my money!!! And how incompetent can they be to not be able to simply schedule me with a dentist who will use gas for procedures?????? FAIR WARNING NEVERRRR HAND THEM YOUR CASH !!! I want to give the highest review for Streetsboro Dental. I had an issue with my teeth where I thought I had something stuck between two of my molars and I called them up in the morning and they instantly got me in and accommodated me even though I was a new patient. They quickly diagnosed the problem as a chip and a missing filling and instantly started to work on me to correct the problem. They took such good care of me I literally have no pain or discomfort whatsoever with the great services that they performed. They are terrible. They had me do a root canal and start of a crown without running my insurance. Then to tell me I'm out of network and I owe more money. They are just trying to take your money. I wish i could give zero stars! I was going there to have alot of work done and all they wanted to do is hurry me in and hurry me out...I need alot of dental work, Dr.Jeff J. repaired a tooth that broke off in the left front of my mouth, only to have my crown made wrong 3 times!!!! When they finally got my tooth the right color and right size, he still had to grind it down after of course he drilled out too much of the root for the root canal, and the post for the crown to attach to....needless to say 2 weeks later the tooth came loose, and when i called to get in...we'll see what we can do!:2 days later, the crown, the post, and a piece of the tooth behind my former crown completely broke out!!! My Husband, Myself and other family members have been going to Streetsboro Dental for a few years now and find them all to be very Caring, The Dentists are professional and knowledgeable the Hygienists are excellent! But seriously, the desk girls are always genuinely friendly, and the hygienists always let you know what they're going to do before they do it. I would give 0 stars if I could!!! I went in for a chipped tooth and 2 surface cavities. While fixing my chipped tooth they burned my nose, corner of mouth and lip by getting some of the compound on my face. They then filled my 2 surface cavities which had to be fixed 1 week later because they didn't grind them down far enough and was causing me pain. When they were giving me Novocain, the needle hit a nerve in my jaw which had me in so much pain that I ended up in a Med Center. The pain lasted for over a month and went away only after 2 rounds of steroids, antibiotics, pain killers and Tylenol to get me through until I could take my next round of pain killers. I am, again, having issues with my fillings and am now going to a different dentist who has me on prescription toothpaste to help with the pain now caused by the fillings. It has been 2 months and I still use ice packs to help with the ache in my jaw. You can read my review again and see I mention pain a lot....because they caused it!!! read more
