How much sleep do you get? How often do you exercise?" It's nice to have this dialogue with my primary physician. I'm also quite satisfied with his staff; they always pick up the phone, great with getting back to you about refilling prescriptions, answering questions. A pleasant change from most other offices. Lastly, his office runs like a clock. When you have a 10:30 appointment you are seen on time. I have never waited more than 5 minutes from my appointment. I don't know why every doctor's office doesn't run like this, but it's nice to have somebody respect my time as much as I do theirs. I hope you have the same opinion and satisfaction as I do. It's a small office and Dr. Wong is the only attending physician. They got a small office but the staff is friendly. Dr. Wong seemed nice. Because this our first visit, Dr. Wong asked a lot of questions. However, some of those questions sound weird and maybe a bit personal. When it comes to doing our blood work, they took two attempts to get the needle in me. I had blood work done by my last doctor and never had any issues. Unfortunately, my wife was not so lucky. They must have stuck needles in my wife's hands and arms in 6 different spots and still couldn't manage to draw any blood out. We ended up getting the blood work done at Quest near our house. We also had some other tests done but they never call us back with the results. A few days later I got mine back but they couldn't find my wife's. I think it's okay going to a small doctor's office, but the staff just seemed a little confused or unorganized.

But when saw the doctor, he asked a lot of questions which we thought were not related to our medical history. He first insisted that "the vagina has amazing self-cleaning mechanisms"--which one CANNOT assume for so elderly a patient--then he added, "I will NOT explore her VAGINA!" as if he were a little boy afraid to "play doctor" with girls, let alone willing to consider an antiseptic douche. She told me to call the office once I completed the labs, as the results might not show up quickly on their end and follow-up was important. Today, I called just to inform them that I had completed the labs--and was hung up on twice by the receptionist. I wasn't even allowed to explain why I was calling, she talk over me all the time. When I politely asked for her name so I could escalate the issue, she said, "You will never get my name from me," and hung up again. This is incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. Patients should never be treated with this level of disrespect--especially when dealing with serious health concerns.
