She asked me about my family history which was clearly written on the paperwork I filled out in the waiting room. The doctor wanted to get blood work done which I had already gotten a few weeks prior but said she needed new bloodwork to make sure there weren't any mistakes. The doctor wouldn't fill any Rx till I got my blood work done and made another appointment to come and get the results. I think I would be out of my mind to go back to this place.

I was frantic and told Dr. Perwein, who was covering for her usual internist, Dr. Neimand. He first insisted that "the vagina has amazing self-cleaning mechanisms"--which one CANNOT assume for so elderly a patient--then he added, "I will NOT explore her VAGINA!" as if he were a little boy afraid to "play doctor" with girls, let alone willing to consider an antiseptic douche. I have never seen such detached unprofessionalism. That, plus the arrogance--despite my pacifism--I very nearly decked him.

Many people may have issues with the lack of efficiency of the back office however, both my wife and I find Dr. Hsu to be a very good doctor. I have been seeing Dr. Hsu since I first moved to FL in 2001. We always find Dr. Hsu to be very caring and diligent in taking care of our health issues. No matter if it was just the routine annual check-ups or we came down with something, Dr. Hsu has always been there for us and answering any question that we had.
