My husband made an appointment for our son with the OWNER took off work early drove to Barnegat from Tom's River. She told my husband she was doing his appointment herself she would be stretching him. When they arrived there was no appointment in the book for him, she was not there and I've called there twice asking for her to call me. Her employees can not reach her in hours. This is the most unprofessional business I have ever seen!!! They refused to see him said they were all booked! Terrible run business would NEVER recommend this location. After having lower back surgery and being denied additional Physical Therapy from my insurance company, I needed to find another solution to get me over the hump. I still had pain in my sciatica, hips and down both legs with tingling in my feet. I made an appointment at Stretch Zone in Barnegat for the complimentary 30 minute stretch. The pain level went from a 7/8 to a 4/5. I signed up for additional sessions immediately. After having three additional sessions my pain and numbness is much reduced. The staff is pleasant and professional. the facility is clean and the equipment is disinfected after each client. The owner is a hands on owner and present. I was able to make an appointment in the evening after work for the free 30 min. first time stretch session advertised. The place was clean, the therapist was professional and the communication before and during the session was excellent. I felt safe and had a good session. After my first session I not only slept through the night without needing to wake and move to a new position during the night but I also woke and was able to walk without pain and stiffness in the morning! I have not been able to do either for I dont know how long! I wish they were able to use my insurance as I do not have the flexible medical account that they can use as payment. The new owner is passionate about what she does and the quality of service provides. They were thorough in asking what my medical history was, what they would be doing and what I should expect. I was a member of Stretch Zone Barnegat New Jersey, and after four months I had to stop going there for Stretching . I was notified by my surgeon who is taking care of my spine issues, that I cannot use any place that stretches me because it is detrimental to my spine. I called and spoke to Amber, and told her what took place and Amber replied that there would be no refund on the two sessions I had left but she would stop or future sessions. I agreed and I said I would use the last two sessions, For taking stretching for my upper body. Today I received a bill stating that my account was charged from Stretch Zone of Barnegat New Jersey for additional sessions. I called up the location and spoke to the assistant manager. She stated that she did see notes in the system from Amber that I did cancel and that I was just going to use my last two sessions. I asked the assistant manager for a refund and she would not give me a refund. In my opinion do not use Stretch Zone at Barnegat New Jersey because it is quite obvious money is more important than customers especially when they are leaving. read more

Very disappointed in my barbers performance. I asked for a low half fade with shadow back and got a high half with no shadow back. He actually went unusually high in the back and shaved a strip with a two into the top of my head where I had about a six. Their clippers are garbage too, no adjustment bars, I wasn't really surprised when I did not get a low fade because with $20 Walmart clippers you can't do it. read more
