Her instructions were clear to follow and she was good at checking up on each of us to make sure we had good form. If you are a first timer be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early so your instructor can give you the details on how the equipment works and go over all the different moves for the class. It was my first time using the megaformer so there was a bit of a learning curve but it wasn't too bad using it. I definitely got a good workout and various muscles were sore the next day. The room and equipment were all very well maintained and there was a lot of cool air flow throughout the class so while the workout could be intense, I never felt overheated or warm. When I approached the table, the two women representing the company just stared at me with what felt like an attitude. I asked what Stretch Zone was about, as there wasn't much information displayed on the table. One of the women simply pointed to a video on a tablet and said, "There's a video, it pretty much explains it," while the other just pointed to a card with info. Their snarky and dismissive demeanor made me feel unwelcome. I was instantly irritated - if you're at an event to promote a business, you should be engaging and eager to explain it. Based on this experience, I have no interest in pursuing services from Stretch Zone.

Super friendly, welcoming and engaging are what comes to mind to describe Lauren's delightful personality. I not only feel energized, but feel great after my first assisted stretching session. I have a hard time stretching on my own, and like the accountability of StretchZone, the roomy, well lit and impeccably clean and comfortable stretching area. We started training with Damon for golf fitness, but quickly realized what we were doing would help anyone who cares about their fitness. Damon is so good at the golf swing and has shown us ways to improve stability, mobility and strength. His knowledge goes way past the golf swing and he has helped me with my comeback from a total hip replacement as well as ways to alleviate pain in my lower back. We all want more length when we hit the ball and with one drill showing me how to make a better hip turn, I gained one club length in distance and I improved my accuracy. Having turned 60, it's easy to lose flexibility leading to a loss in distance. However, in my case I have gained distance and I expect to gain more. I can't wait to get to this incredible gym and the hour goes by too fast. The aura and feel here is something special and everyone is so nice. It really feels like a family atmosphere and I have met other clients with different reasons why they work out at Method Athlete.
