Mike is talented at his craft, I would say this because what Mike does and the way he does it is nothing short of a mastered skilled trade. Last year during Covid when boating season was at its peak and I had just purchased a Carver Motor Yacht I needed some help. Although Mike was very busy he made time in a compliant setting to work out the details of completely refurbishing the canvass, upholstery and Glass. We even worked through the design of converting The boat box and coolers into additional padded resilient bench seating. OMG was that a great decision. Additional seating for 6 and what a great opportunity to work through an issue with Mike, where at the end of that project he left me with value that a person just can't put a price on, but he did and it was more than fair. I have found Mike to have top of the line creativity, better than best quality, very fair lead times, and pricing that really doesn't need haggling. Mike is, has been, and continues to be the go to guy for my boating needs. I have brought many an idea to Mike with my having little to no expertise in his craft and he was always able to respectfully take the though, implement it into how those projects actually work and at a price that was less than what it would have been if I wasn't open to the better way to do it. Mike will build me whatever I want, but allowing him to be part of the design process has only brought me more value at a lower cost. If your not at the very least giving Mike the opportunity, pardon the pun, but you would be missing the boat on that decision. Many Thanks Mike!!!! There were couches with fire pits, a pavilion with grills corn holes with bean bags. A nice work out area. Clean bathrooms and showers and a lounge area ! Update-DO NOT BUY A BOAT FROM THIS SHADY COMPANY…read more I brought the boat back to them for Winter Storage and asked for a routine tune up. They then came back and said the boat does not have the original gears and they scarred me into getting them fixed. They said I would have serious problems down the road if don't fix this ASAP. Being a newer boater, I spent around $2,200 to get this fixed even though the boat ran fine last year and I don't think the prior owner had problems either considering I have all his service records. On May 5th of this year, I picked up the boat for a Spring launch and asked to take a test spin with the mechanic. During the test spin, the engine was misfiring badly and needed to be fixed. They spent 4 hours working on it and basically put a band-aid on it. The mechanic said come back after 20 hours of using it and they will fix it if anything goes wrong. Well, the engine is completely messed up and continues to back fire after about 15-20 hours. I called up the service department to ask for the record of what they did for 4 hours and surprisingly the HAVE NO RECORD OF WHAT THEY DID. I had another mechanic run a diagnostic test and he says they messed up the timing put I have zero compression in one of my cylinders. I then asked Battery Park to take a look at it and they told me tough luck we won't help you and how do we know the other mechanic didn't screw it up? They were the ones that found the problems and only did a diagnostic test. She then told me that the mechanic told me I have the wrong prop on my boat? First off, he never told me that and I would have never boat a boat with the wrong gears and wrong prop. Battery Park sold me a junk boat and then swindled me into getting repairs that they won't even fix what they started. Oh and I'm now looking at maybe putting another $4-5 grand in repairs. BOTTOM LINE-DO NOT BUY OR SERVICE YOUR BOAT HERE!!!!!
