Most would merely put the patient on machines for most of the session, with maybe 5 minutes of hands-on work at the end. Rezac & Associates is NOT like that. Not only is the entire session hands-on work (with a machine or other modality as needed), but a number of their physical therapists are conversant with Lyme disease and the havoc it can wreak on all systems of the body. Although I may not heal this side of eternity, Rezac & Associates knows how to cater their physical therapy to the needs of each patient, rather than merely using a set protocol. I've been with them close to two years now and would not hesitate to recommend Rezac & Associates for your physical therapy needs. Moreover, they CARE about their clients.

I was told after my last session that I could make another appointment if I wanted to. It was very dismissive and then I got a bill for multiple things that never even happened. I think it was just a way to milk the insurance company. This also did nothing for my achilles issues that was causing daily pain and trouble walking. I found a deep tissue massage therapist that worked on glute muscles and hamstrings and calves. This worked. Orthopedic Rehabilitation Associates charged $180 for a ten minute foot rub (manual therapy) and $114 for neuromuscular re-education (which never happened unless it was the calf raises?). This is dishonest billing practices. I'm sure physical therapy is great for some situations, but they should be upfront with you if they think you need another option.

I've heard great things about Orthopedic Rehab in general- they have a lot of locations- this location is really good. My physical therapist was Micah. He is very good. He also does dry needling and I felt like he did very well with that- he explained everything and normalized the process and was in tune and sensitive with how I was handling it. Micah is smart and knows what he is doing. You spend some time with your physical therapist and then have techs and assistants who walk you through your exercises and treatments. Overall I appreciated each one who worked with me. One tech in particular seemed distant and I felt like he shamed me when I arrived at the wrong time for an appointment (I'm not convinced that was my fault) and that really bothered me. But the people working are personable, caring and knowledgable. Their equipment is good and I enjoyed observing the interactions with other patients and among the team. There are TV's in the rehab area and I got a real kick out of how into The Price Is Right the staff seemed each time I was there. :) I had frustrations with scheduling. I think about 30% of the time (and I went A LOT and for A LONG TIME) there were mistakes made with my scheduling- either the day, time, which treatment I was having, or even the therapist I was seeing. I think improvements need to be made in their scheduling system. The front desk staff, especially more recently, are warm and on top of things. This office has recently added services for women's health which I think is awesome. They don't take my insurance (Aetna) but they were fair in their prices which I respected. The owner/manager of this location, Chad, is extremely personable and seems like a good leader. There were some times I felt like the staff were giving up on me, indifferent to me, distracted or maybe even a little uncommitted. I think that could have been because I was a patient longer than most other people, and maybe my own discouragement that I wasn't getting enough better rubbed off on them. Overall, though, my experience was positive and I will highly recommend this location of Orthopedic Rehab.

The "therapist" part of "physical therapist" is very real; my practitioner, Sarah, treated not just my symptoms, but my whole self. Under her care, I improved rapidly physically and also learned so much about my own body and how to care for myself. She balanced trying new therapies with basic core strengthening and flexibility exercises. I was always amazed at her ability to recommend precisely the missing piece in my treatment. Though I originally saw her for chronic low back pain, she's treated all sorts of complaints and injuries in my 2 years with her. The entire team is fantastic, from the front desk folks to the massage therapists. I actually looked forward to my appointments, knowing that I'd be greeted with a smile and taken care of quickly and compassionately. For me, Rocky Mtn Rehab is the only way to go.

I've had two surgeries on my neck so my issues are focused on the neck, shoulders and back. Jason didn't just tell me how to stretch, but he helped me through the stretches. He helped push my body in ways that released tension in places I didn't even realized needed that stretch. All in all, I felt great when I left and have appointments booked for the next two weeks. She is knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, and genuinely cared about my recovery after my knee surgery. I made great progress working with her, and she is the only reason this review isn't one star. If this review were only about Laura, it would be 5 stars. Unfortunately, my experience with the clinic's billing department completely changed my opinion of this practice. Before starting physical therapy, I confirmed with the clinic that they accepted my Anthem insurance plan. They collected my insurance information, told me they were in-network, and I paid my $70 copay at every visit. Based on that information, I had every reason to believe my coverage had been properly verified. Weeks later, I was suddenly told that I owed an additional $830 for previous visits because of an insurance issue. If I had been told from the beginning that there was any question about my coverage or network status, I would have chosen a different provider immediately. Patients rely on clinics to accurately verify insurance benefits before treatment begins. Unexpected bills of this size after multiple visits are frustrating and place an unnecessary financial burden on patients who acted in good faith. My advice to anyone considering this clinic is simple: verify your insurance coverage directly with your insurance company before receiving treatment, and ask for written confirmation of your network status. The 1st office said they charged hospital rates, $459/45 mins. Not even kidding. The 2nd office wouldn't give me a clue about prices until my 1st appt and wouldn't schedule me until they had a referral in hand. Ascend PT gave me a price up front, said they'd start me without a referral and they squeezed me into their calendar. My healing process will be slow, but I'm really happy with my PT's (Ryan) expert hands. Everyone in the office is very nice and easy to work with.
