Instead of listening, she was short, cold, and visibly irritated that I was trying to provide context for the injury. When my daughter told her that the exam was hurting and the pressure on her knee was too much, Shannon actually pressed harder. I was shocked. To make matters worse, the exam room at their south location had at least 20 dead flies on the floor and windowsill, extremely unhygienic and unacceptable in a medical facility. We left feeling mistreated and very upset. I called immediately to request a different provider and to speak with a manager about how unprofessional the appointment was. Instead of addressing anything we reported, they mailed us a letter saying they were "parting ways" with us. That tells you everything you need to know about how they handle complaints. While that is perfectly fine, we had already decided to seek care elsewhere, the lack of professionalism in how it was handled truly says it all. Be aware of the treatment you may receive here. Our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.

He did his job and I followed their instructions. Between the surgery and doing restorative yoga, my back is great now. I went from not being able to stand or sit (at all!) to being 80-90% better in a couple weeks and after a few months, 90-100% better. So, I would say my surgery went great and I have referred many others to him who have had great success.

Anyway, I started out here a few weeks ago and got to work with Matt and Gary (sp?). The facility is really nice - recently decorated/remodeled with some great artwork murals around the room. They have all the latest rehab equipment and have pain killers and ice ready for you when you are all done. Matt and Gary have been awesome! Both work with me every step of the way but also have the sense to know when I just want to get to work. I will say everyone has been friendly here and I would recommend it highly to all my friends or even acquaintances for great health care. I started treatment at APPT and all was going well until an insurance hiccup occurred. Because I…read moremoved recently, and mistakenly thought that my insurance bills were being paid through autopay, my Medicare insurance lapsed. I was hoping that I could get my insurance reinstated quickly but it has taken a matter of months. I was notified by APPT that I owed them some money which I paid yesterday. The amount I owed was $363. After I paid my bill I inquired how many sessions that was for and was told it was just one session. That seemed excessive to me and, on further inquiry, I learned that it was the "insurance" price. The non-insurance price is $110. When I called back today and spoke to Candy she said that there was nothing that could be done. She'd spoken to her colleague who refused to give me the lower price. It seems to me that they could have made a small concession and given me the lower rate as an act of kindness and good customer service, but they refused. When I told Candy that she'd just lost a patient, as a result of that decision, she didn't seem to care at all.
