They also added another tree that was not originally on estimate but was able to get them to add that to the scope with the crane already set up. Protective mats were used for the grass and very little damage to the grass area where the crane was moved into position. The crew showed up on time at the agreed upon date. This vendor had previously done work for me with no problems on a prior job and I was expecting everything to go smoothly. I even referred them to my neighbor who hired them for some additional work to be done while they were onsite at my house. Unfortunately, there was a disagreement about what 2 large branches were supposed to be trimmed on a large oak tree. I did not get the work done that I had agreed upon with Jordan. I needed a large branch removed that was in danger of falling on my neighbor's shed. That had been discussed at length with Jordan and was the primary reason for the job. A different and much smaller branch was removed instead. Stump grinding was part of the job and that part was completed as agreed. The stump grinding equipment was left in my neighbor's driveway and a truck came to pick it up. The truck drove across my lawn. This was really not necessary since the equipment was parked in a driveway and easily accessible without driving across my lawn. This is not a big deal for me (my lawn is ok) but some folks do get upset about this stuff. Misunderstandings about which branches were to be trimmed can happen. However, I don't feel that they really cared to try and resolve the issue with a reasonable compromise in good faith. Poor attitude. I paid them in full for taking down a different branch and will now have to hire another vendor to finish the job. This vendor is no longer welcome on my property. If you do use this vendor, make sure you get each branch clearly marked.

Four trees fell between our house and a small creek about ten feet away from the house. One tree was about 50' tall and it pancaked on two additional trees with the top of all three landing on our deck. The removal looked impossible without one or more of the trees ending up in the creek. Jeff Campbell gave the lowest estimate and arrived on time with a full crew ready to go. The equipment included a crane, a chipper, a skid loader (with clamp jaws), and a dump truck. They did a great job and finished in record time.
