This post seems suspicious given it's timing, content, and "Jessica O" has no other Yelp posts or Yelp Friends. Unfortunately this is fairly common practice for restaurants, salons, etc even though it dilutes the integrity of the Yelp platform. It's a bit surprising that this type of behavior would also come from a legal entity. Admittedly, this does feel a bit petty to point out, but I initially used Yelp to decide to work with the Wong Leong Cuccia office. I trusted the existing posts to choose a lawyer, but I wasn't thoroughly vetting each review. This platform is meant to help us see past a company's own branding/marketing/sales material so that we get a genuine sense of how business was actually conducted with other customers. Maybe Jessica O is a real person, but its suspect that the review was not written without some sort of incentive from the legal office directly.... or potentially from someone internally.

We bought a new home on Maui so the next stop was house insurance. We live in CA so it had to be…read moredone over the phone. After ringing around and finding that most insurance companies wouldn't insure the house (it is within 1,000 ft of the beach), or that the agents didn't bother to return my call or send an email as promised, or suggested we call into the office we were beginning to worry that insurance would be a big problem for us. After trying 5 other companies/agents (recommended on Yelp!) with no result I rang Wayne and left a message on his answerphone. He called back within 10 minutes, was very personable, professional, positive and helpful and had the situation totally under control. He took some information down over the phone, then emailed a quote within the hour. After another phone call we had narrowed down the coverage we wanted and he emailed the papers for signature over to us to sign, scan and email back. He also posted the documentation which arrived within days to our CA address. The whole thing went smoothly and Wayne was a joy to work with. I can't understand how Wayne isn't already listed on Yelp! I would definitely recommend Wayne to anyone on Maui who needs house insurance, especially if you are on the mainland.
