Unfortunately I am writing only two stars due to a lack of follow-through which I believe every customer deserves. After providing the upfront 10% down I waited patiently for 3 weeks for "start work". The 10% check cleared in the first 14 days after mailing and felt this was a good sign. However during a good faith check-in call I was disappointed with the re-rack of schedule and numerous reasons/excuses for the inability to perform the work. The weather was no different than expected in the Green Bay area yet that came out as the primary apologetic reason/excuse for essentially a day for day delay. Perhaps if I had any movement or contact while patiently waiting for up to 6 weeks to start work, then I wouldn't be writing this review. I am sure this is not indicative of their 30+ years in business, but this didn't help me as another customer who didn't feel valued. Perhaps there are others, but certainly hope not.

From the initial walk through to the final touch ups, this company did an outstanding job. Let me give you a quick overview of how easy it was to work with these contractors. First, the initial sales person, Michael, was incredibly knowledgeable and able to see the vision we had for the first floor. He took a good number of photos and then met with other project managers at their office. From here, we met with an amazing designer, Halley. She answered every question I had and promised me she would guide me along the way. I had some ideas, and everything I forgot, she gently guided to a solution. I was able to pick everything from the exact sink and faucet, to backsplash and flooring. The amazing communication continued throughout the project using an app called buildertrend. We knew when the contractors were arriving for each step of the process. We were also able to ask questions through the app and received quick responses. I did have a couple of change orders, and even those were handled seamlessly. My project has been done now for about three months, and every day I love seeing the finished project.

SF&C provided a very nice fence to my spec. needed. It was done in a day, looks great, and the quality is also great. I have had 4-5 friends and neighbors ask me who did my fence, and I know at least 3 called for either est.s or actual work. I would definitely recommend SF&C to whoever is in need of a quality fence. He gave us a timeline of 5-7 weeks but was able to get his team out for the install in just 3 weeks (I think because the materials arrived earlier than expected). Brad, Sean and Gavin did a great job with the install and had it done in just 2 days. Mike's wife, Sharon, was also a pleasure to work with getting the permit and coordinating payments.
