She was absolutely phenomenal! I returned because of her. She then went on maternity leave and Ashley took over the appointments. I was surprised, she was also amazing! Both of them have a great personality and did a great job. There's TV's on the ceiling, the place seems very clean. Dr. Peter helped me out with my remaining appointments and although I was nervous, he did a great job. I highly recommend this place. I took time off work and prepared carefully for my appointment on July 2, 2025, following all recommended steps like whitening my teeth and arranging transportation from Orangeville. In the days before my appointment, I sent some questions about the procedure, including what materials would be used, whether I could see a digital mock-up of the expected results, and how Dr. May would ensure the bonded teeth wouldn't look bulky. On the morning of my appointment, while I was already halfway there, I received a call from the office coordinator telling me that Dr. May was no longer comfortable proceeding because I had asked too many questions. I felt dismissed for trying to do my due diligence before committing to an elective cosmetic procedure. I believe patients should be encouraged to ask questions to ensure informed consent. My appointment was canceled at the last minute, wasting my time off work and leaving me disappointed. We came from a dentist who found 13 holes in my teeth (I visit a dentist usually every 6 months) to Dr. Ford who found one. Even though I knew the other dentist was scamming for money Dr. Ford would still not say anything bad about the dentist. He won't waste your time or money. We have insurance and he'll still choose a course of treatment that's comfortable for you. He believes that you shouldn't touch teeth unnecessarily. His team is amazing with my kids. I came in once and they had their stuffed animals with them. When I came back again a month later they all remembered the stuffed animals names and made the kids feel so comfortable and important. Even though dr. Ford is a no nonsense kind of guy my kids love him (and my son is afraid of most things). They pretend to be him during play. We couldn't have found a more honest, sincere group of people. I would never go to see another dentist.

Alert - this office has recently gotten involved in a family dispute between my husband and his…read moreex-wife as evidenced by harassin my husband while at work for his credit card number to pay for his children's dental appointments as according to them "it is the law as his birthday comes first". My husband was hesistant to give them our credit card, given his children have been patients of this office for five plus years and they have never asked for this before so each time they called he said I will call you back, as he wanted to look into the matter. On the last time they called, I spoke with the billing secretary and explained to her that it was my understanding that given we don't have the relationship with the office, nor did we sign any contract for care, it was inappropriate to bill our credit card due to his birthday coming first. She actually argued with me and after I brought up the fact that his daughter had reached the cap on orthodontic treatment and there was nothing to send to our plan regardless, she then told me it was office policy to have his number but could not eplain why they haven't needed it for the past five plus years. Furthermore, I calmly explained to her that this billing situation was complicated as the children have THREE plans and my husband;s exwife REFUSES to have the dentist use my plan (which we cannot force her or the office to do) and that I would appreciate that unless there is an issue with my plan or my husband's plan to please not call and harrass us with this "new" office policy as we would not ever be complying. To make matters worse, the next time my step-daughter was in the office, this same administrative person apparently told her and her mother that she is sorry that they have to deal with me because I called the office and screamed at her so loud that her other clients could hear me. Given I was actually at work (in a government office building neverthelss) AND I have witnesses to the conversation that at no time did I scream, but I did speak firmly on how unappreciative we were to the repeated phone calls etc. We then sent a letter to Dr. Ferguson to complain about the lack of professionalism and slander of my name by his staff (over a month ago) and to date this has not been answered in any form. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the Better Business Burerau and the Ontario Dental Association as recommended by my own dentist office as they have expressed how mortified they would be if this happened at their office. The more you know about what goes on behind closed doors .... these types of offices are in a bind when it comes to dealing with divorced families and extended family drug plan but at the end of the day, they were gettihg paid their money either way and tg get involed in any our our family affairs was completely unfounded and slander of my name and actions will not be tolerated.

I moved back to Innisfil a couple of years ago and found Alcona Family Dentistry through my neighbor. They have got to be the best dentistry I have ever been to. My teeth have never been whiter after a cleaning. They are very gently and I have never felt anything. The conversations that go on between the two of them are very interesting and quite amusing and sometimes very funny. I recently had dental surgery done and I could not be happier with the outcome and the price. I highly recommend them and will not go anywhere else. If they ever relocate I will still go to them wherever they are. read less

Then they wanted to charge the same amount again to fix the work. This was all after the receptionist told us to take it up with the dentists and the dentist act as if they don't know what is going on and to take our compliant to the receptionist. It is truly rare to be treated so unprofessionally in a 'professionals' office!
