I've ordered products from Structube to be delivered to the United States and have had a terrible experience. It's taken 4-6 weeks to receive my order. I was also notified that the shipment would be delivered on a certain date and it wasn't upheld and was rescheduled. When the delivery finally came, the in-home delivery for $99 also was also not upheld. I did manage to get compensation for this regard. The deliverer from ABF which they hired to deliver my shipment also left my furniture in the parking area near the elevator. My dad and I had to bring the furniture up to the apartment upstairs ourselves. We got a couch, coffee table, and bed which had varying qualities. The couch and bed were of good quality but I also spent a lot of money on them. The coffee table came with a missing leg and large scratch on the side. The coffee table was also a lot cheaper. It has been 2 months since the first purchase, and we are still dealing with getting the replacement coffee table. It's a logistic nightmare, don't go with Structube. read more

After patiently waiting for the dresser to be ready for pick up - I found out no one at their store would be able to load the nursery dresser into my car as I am 8 months pregnant. Purchased a couch from Structube and wasn't able to open it until our renovation was complete. We bought our couch early because of all the negative reviews focused on poor delivery options and all the back orders that take forever to fulfill. We finally opened the packaging and found damage to the couch which was clearly caused by the delivery team dragging it around. Anyhow, they refuse to do anything about it. Sadly, will never shop with this company again and will make sure I let everyone know about the poor customer service. read more

If you have time, patience and the control not to yell at someone, this is your company. Ordered online. Delays after delays without notification of changes until I reached out. Even after that, the replies take forever and is very generic. Troublesome to cancel as they will charge you for delivery of the rest of your items (ones that are available) as they deliver one time for ALL items. 3 months to arrive! When the item arrived, quality is mediocre, nothing like advertised. Oh and to top it off, items were missing from the box. Their hardware seems handpacked so of course highly likely to miss items/pieces. Imagine if I had to get screws delivered from the company? It would've just been a nightmare! So, had to spend more time and more money looking for specific screws so we could actually assemble and use the damn things. DO NOT recommend this company! read more

Bouht a Ravel queen size bed for 900. It took months to arrive, it came in a box that had been clearly oppend. One of the drawers had all wooden roles stripped and rails just came off. They offer me 120 to accept as is!! or pack it back nicely and return for a refund. After hours assembling it, just unrealistic. Stay away, rhey are selling floor models as they dont have enough stock. This company is just irresponsible. read more

To say that this table (SOHAN) is cheap, brittle, and of a garbage quality would be a huge understatement! All of the sides, corners, and table top have begun flaking and delaminating within days of use like wallpaper. What looks like a nice table at the surface has presented itself as a less-than IKEA piece of trash that has a fake-plastic like feel. Do better. This paired with the atrocious online support, lead times and having to return the first table because of extensive damage (whole other can of worms) I can safely say that not only do I not recommend this product, I do not recommend Structube - at all. read more

It is now 5 months later and no sign of my item. Every time I call they add on more time for when the item will be in stock again. I bought a dining table and 4 chairs. A week later, it finally came in stock and they called me in to come pick it up which was no problem. I arrived and found out that one of the staff sold the chairs earlier in the week. They rescheduled the order and said it will come in stock next week. Sadly, I only came home with the table that day. I was annoyed because I borrowed an SUV and that I drove through a minor snowstorm to get there. Now... I have to make time to drive all the way back and hopefully no snowstorm. Don't get me wrong, the staff is nice and people make mistakes. I just feel they need to get their crap together and better organize things for customer service. I ordered 2 sofas, bedframe and a bunch of other stuff and will have it delivered in a few weeks. Do not trust the reviews. They only publish positive reviews. I wrote a review back in August about the Kinsey couch that said... "I Wanted to love this couch but I was quite disappointed with the quality of the leather. The leather around all of the seams looks very worn out almost as if it is rubbing off". NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY I received damaged TOKYO, I was promised a replacement within 2-3 weeks; 5 MONTHS later I got a call to arrange a replacement. Structube delivery policy is terrible. if you don't accept the delivery date/time they offer (an adult must be present - 4-hour window) you will be CHARGED A BIG FEE to arrange a time that is convenient for you. Customer service is such a disgrace! I ordered a TODD sectional and payed full price for it. Then after a week they called to say that they cannot give me a TODD. So I went in the store to get a refund. They said they couldn't do it and had to wait for the head office and that they were going to call me. No one called! After days of waiting and reaching out, they said I should go back to the store to get a refund! Terrible in-store pick up experience with Structube, Metrotown Store. Nerve racking customer treatment by the store manager (the Asian/Canadian lady with glasses) and the gentleman from the staff who "helped" us. I haven't had such a terrible customer experience for a long time, maybe ever. After receiving the text message "your order is ready to pick up from the store" me and my husband went to the Metrotown store to pick up our items. It turned out that my order wasn't ready to pick up. We went there at 3.10pm, we left the store at 4.34pm. For exactly 84 minutes the staff searched for my items at the back. Every 15 minutes they would come the front and try to understand what item is missing, would go back to the storage section and try to find it. I understand problems happen. I accept that. What matters is how they are handled and addressed by the staff and store manager so we, customers are happy. And the worst part was how they handled this situation. After an hour of waiting at the store on a Saturday, I talked to the man who was helping us and said this: Me: "I had to make a comment here. We came here because we received a message that says our order is ready to pick up. It clearly is not. I have been here for more than an hour and still there is one item that is missing that you cannot find at the back. How do you compensate this? How do you take care of customer feedback like this?" The Man: "I can cancel the item from your order if you like." Me: "I was informed that my items were all here. Can you at least ship that missing item to my house?" The Man: "We don't offer free delivery" (I know that dear person, I am asking in case you'd like to help me out because you've cost us 90 minutes of our Saturday waiting for our "ready to pick up" order in your store, and the help you are offering is "cancelling my order"????) Me: Can I talk to your manager? The Man: Sure Me: Can you call him/her? The Man: (pointing to the back side of the store) "She is right there" Me: Can you "call her"? The Man: Ok (and he never did) I called the manager myself from the back and explained her the situation. She was much more nerve racking than "The Man" who was extremely stubborn to call the manager for me. I met the manager, she apologized for the situation BUT ALSO threw in something like I had many days to pick up these orders. She basically blamed me for something that has nothing to do with the situation. She also threw in things like, it's so busy today, Saturdays are very busy - which had nothing to do with the situation as I didn't wait for any other customer, I waited for 84 minutes for the staff to find my items at the back. As a result, the Asian/Canadian (with glasses) store manager didn't address my problem. I haven't been compensated for my time, I haven't been offered a delivery for the missing item (which was found in the shelf right next to where all these conversations were happening, after 84 minutes) and I was partially blamed for this situation. Having been in customer service, I have never treated any customer like this. I have always offered solutions when problems arose so I have happy customers. I will never shop from the Structube, Metrotown store again, thanks to the treatment by the store manager. read more

Buyer beware! I recently bought a LOIS sofa bed. It's was extremely poor quality and the mechanism the holds the back up, essentially allowing you to use it as a sofa, does not hold the weight of the product. So it can only be used as a bed (and not a comfortable one at that!) It was disappointing, as I purchased it to use as a sofa, not a bed. When I left a review on their site, it was blocked. They emailed me personally (their emailed copied below), but didn't publish my review. This made me realize that they only publish positive reviews on their site for their products. What an extremely dishonest practice. Never trust the reviews on their site! They moderate and only publish complimentary reviews. This company can sell defective products and get away with it as they do not allow for third party reviews if they aren't positive! I had what I thought was a great expanding table for $400. You get what you pay for. The crate and barrel table it replaced was still perfect after 5 years but this one didn't even last 2. The frame underneath has ripped out and there is no way to fix it (this comes prebuilt, btw). I am now afraid that the other structube items I own will also disintegrate in moments. read more

I'm currently dealing with 2 orders, both with different, but similar issues. For both, I have called multiple times only to talk to "customer service" people who can't actually offer any service. The people were pleasant but they are absolutely useless. I don't believe it is their fault, I think the way it is structured they are set up to fail. They have no visibility into where anything physically is, so they tell you they will send an email to another department to find out and that they will get back to you, but they never do. One item I ordered in Feb 2021 with an "in stock" date of early Aug. Since Aug the date has been pushed out constantly. Last week it was Dec 29, and I called again today and it is now Jan 5, 2022. I understand the supply chain and shipping industry is a disaster right now, and I don't blame Structube for that. But I think it's ridiculous that they can tell me how many of this item, in this colour have been ordered and how many have been paid for (reserved), but they can't tell me if the container has even left China yet. I assume that since we are 2 weeks away from the expected delivery date and the date is only pushed back 6 days (although multiple times), that the container is close to Canada, if not already unloaded. But based on how many times this has happened, I'm not even convinced the product has left China yet. Like other people have mentioned, you are NEVER sent an email about the delays. You need to call them to ask or if you check the product on the website, that's the date the customer service rep tells you. My second order, I ordered online and it said the product was in stock. I was told it would take 14 business days to ship from the warehouse in Quebec to BC. I waited and still heard nothing from the transport company for delivery. I called and asked for an update, the woman couldn't tell me anything about where it was or timing. It seems they don't know what a tracking number is or how to track the movement of goods. She couldn't tell me if the item had even left Quebec, if it was in a truck crossing Alberta, or if it was sitting in a warehouse in BC. Again she said she would send an email and someone would contact me within 2 days. 3 days go by, nothing, I call again only to go through the same thing. "I'll send an email and when they respond you will be contacted in 2 business days". I have no faith that I will be contacted and I believe I will have to call them again. From what I have ordered and received from them, the products are decent considering the price. But the customer service is useless and during COVID and a time when the logistics industry is so unstable, I would not order from them again. It's not worth your time to have to follow up so many times and receive zero useful information when you do. The company has A LOT to improve on right now. read more

I'm 62 years old, and I can say without any doubt that this is the most ridiculous store I've ever dealt with and I will never bother to do so again. Tried to buy a mirror back in September and they told me that they wouldn't be able to get it to me until February, even though they had one on the floor in every one of their stores in the Lower Mainland. There was not enough time to take the door off the hinges as deliver team was on a 15 minute window. Too bad it was not modular. In the end, I'm also out of pocket for the delivery/shipping charge (approx $100). I thought they would have waived it, but they did not. Ended up buying an IKEA couch (which came in 4 boxes). This company is very difficult to deal with. I ordered the a Queen size bed (SKU 17.36.17.97) and when it arrived there was a crack down the headboard and multiple scratches on the bed frame. I called to ask for a return and had to fill in multiple forms, wait for somebody to call me back post reviewing my forms to say they approved my return post looking at all my pictures and then it was on me to repackage the damaged bed I received (in the original packaging) and wait for them to pick up which they can't confirm the timing of until the day before. Such an inconvenient experience. The kicker is that after all this they still won't refund me until 7 days after picking up the bed to make sure it is in their warehouse! Do NOT use this company. Go with Wayfair instead. Their customer service is top notch and if this was them I would have received my refund while i was on the phone and they would have sent me a new within days while giving me the option of disposing of the damaged product myself or through them. A much better experience. I am now on week 3 with Structube and still have the damaged bed sitting in my room waiting for pick up! read more

Poor customer service! I waited on furniture for weeks past the supposed "available" date, and and received no updates or explanations. There seems to be a disconnect between the online service and the in-store service. The in-store sent me to the online service for support, and the online support sent me to the store. They weren't rude or anything, but when they DO reply to emails, it is very scripted and difficult to understand. They can't seem to directly answer a question, and instead just quote long winded phrases about their policy back at me when I ask them a question. I ordered two nightstands on Structube and back then, they told me it would take about 2 months for me to receive the item. It has been over 4 months now and still nothing. They keep pushing back the date at which my item will arrive and their estimation is now in December. That would mean that I'll have to wait at least 9 months for my item to come. Even then, that is not a guarantee. They told me on the phone that the date might be further than December. I don't suggest Structube unless you don't mind waiting an eternity for their stock to come back. read more

Crappy company, not buying a single item from them anymore. Bought a furniture from them two months ago, and I still can't use it. The pieces came, some of them were already damaged and scratched upon opening the box. Did they sell us a refurbished unit or a demo without telling us? Their customer service claims it is impossible, I believe them, but how come two of the pieces were scratched? Then, upon assembling, we found out the holes for the screw were misaligned. We tried to adjust the doors as much as possible, nothing can get them aligned. Then, the tabletop of the furniture was missing the sort of ring that allows you to place a screw in place, and it had a long scratch at the top (again, that was so upon opening up the box). So we said screw it, we ordered two replacement pieces as there is no way we are going to pay that much for a damaged furniture. It's now been a month since ordering the pieces. They've received one, but not the second one. They still tell us it is going to be another 1-2 week. This is totally unacceptable. I will never buy from them again. Too bad, the furniture is actually good looking and doesn't feel too cheap, but the company itself and the entire concept itself is really putting me off. read more

Ordered an open box sofa, but Structube sent me the wrong model, but packaged as the right one. Ask them to send me the right model, but since it was an open box, it was now "out of stock". Asked them if it was possible to still send me the model I ordered since I got rid of my old couch, I planned my whole living room for this particular model and they basically flipped me off almost telling me it was my fault for this mistake of theirs. They ended up making a demand to "another department" by email. This "department" blocked my email and I was never able to have a conversation with them. Ended up for several weeks with a packaged sofa that I couldn't use, taking all the space in my living room just for them to finally take it back, but leave me with an empty living room. The most exhausting and rigid customer service I have ever encounter. Take your money elsewhere. read more

They provided me a delivery window in the middle of a work day during business hours. The order is for furniture to fill up an entire empty apartment. Called the delivery company asking for at least 1 hour notice or to be provided with the direct phone number of the delivery driver since I couldn't be sitting around in an empty apartment for 4 hours. Neither option was given to me. Low and behold, the driver calls me at 4:26pm saying he's 10 mins away and there's a snowstorm and that he's able to only wait for 20 minutes. I arrived at 4:45pm and the truck was already gone. If he arrived at 4:36pm then he should've been waiting until 4:56pm!!! Called the delivery company and they said that the driver can't turn back even though I got there in time. The next day the customer service rep said I'd need to pay an extra $90 for another delivery attempt?? The driver never waited the full time and I trekked all the way in the snowstorm for nothing. All the customer service rep had to say was "it is what it is, so you're paying an additional $90 for another delivery." REFUNDED my entire order but they still charged me $90 for that first delivery! ABSURD! read more

The worst customer service ever. Take your payment and could care less whether you receive your products or not. Ordered items it August that were in stock on the website paid for them in full to only get an email a week later saying some of my items are it if stock. When calling customer service I waited in hold for 1:42 minutes to finally speak to someone I was told that the items would be back in stock shortly and the date given is just an estimate not the actual date. Also said that the reason this happens with the out of stock is they do not know how much they have as people are ordering!! I didn't realize the desk and mirror I had ordered were that popular! Come on really?? One excuse after the other and no rectifying the situation and apparently no one has a boss or a supervisor at customer service to escalate an issue to. Received another email that my items were in stock to receive and email the following day to tell me that the items were in back order??!! Called again to customer service waited 2 hours and 4 minutes on hold to be disconnected! Called back and spoke to what seemed like the same man to find out that again nothing will be done. Received another email that my items were in stock and going to be released from Montreal here they had been delayed because of a strike. Hooray they were coming of wait... no they are not because now one item is still on back order and they will not deliver unless the whole order is in. Call customer to get that fixed they advise in the email. Called customer service again to speak to the same guy. Guess what he did nothing! No delivery until my whole order was in can't separate it either, Absolutely ridiculous. Called the store spoke to someone who finally separated the order but guess what I had to pay right away to get the one item reordered and they would refund for the original order of that piece separately in order to get my other two items delivered. Did that and guess what I have not seen my refund yet. I was also told after I did this my order would be delivered on Wednesday (today) I took the day off work to be here for the delivery. When I had not received a call I called strutube Burlington spoke to the manager Julian he was pompous and no help whatsoever the total lack of concern got the situation is mind boggling. Absolutely the worst service I have ever come across I previously had ordered a bed with no issues but after this debacle I will never order from Structube again! read more

Terrible quality furniture. I bought a tv stand, 2 buffets and a desk. The doors on the tv stand are crooked and the drawers don't slide in and out properly. The doors on the one buffet are scratched at the bottom. Never buying from them again. I thought it would be better quality than Ikea, but I was very wrong. read more

Bought a chair for $400 for my home office from this location (as a gift to myself after a promotion). I only spend about 1 day a week in the home office. In 1.5 years, the synthetic leather in the chair totally fell apart. Conveniently the warranty was only 1 year. Structube personnel at this location and the head office refused to do anything even after repeated attempts at contacting them. I would've expected a $400 chair to last at least ten years when used only once a week. My previous $80 Staples chair lasted more than 8 years.
