    Great experience altogether. The staff is amazing in the dining room; gym; nutrition and housekeeping. Will def return. Highly recommend

At 33 years old, high cholesterol was completely unexpected for me, especially since there is no history of cholesterol issues in my family. Leah encouraged me from the very beginning to first try lowering my 'bad' cholesterol and increasing my 'good' cholesterol by making changes to my diet and exercise regimes rather than starting on medication right away. By checking my lipid profile every few months we were able to track the positive effects of her recommended changes to my diet and exercise regime until, last September, all of my numbers were finally in the normal ranges! Leah empowered me to take control of my health. I feel great! If I could give her a 10 star review I definitely would!

She explained what I needed to be eating and how much weight I should be gaining in a really easy way and made me feel better about how I'm not going to screw my kid up forever if I'm not perfect while pregnant. We talked about gestational diabetes and what kinds of things I can do to (hopefully) avoid developing it. She was super friendly and made me feel at ease. I plan to go back if I ever need more nutrition guidance!

She is educated in the health field. She offered recipes, websites, and other health related topics. With her coaching, I learned a lot about food and food choices. I learned to be accountable for my choices. You have to put the work in. Ramona guides you with questions and topics to help you along the way. Again you have to put the work in. Ramona also give your 2 week summary of your sessions. If you're looking for a health coach, I recommend Ramona. I lost 13 pounds. When I started the focus was on losing weight but after the during the sessions my focas changed to better food choices and now I'm cooking more and trying new recipes which is better for me. We examined every aspect of my life; spirituality, career, education, finances, joy, social life, relationships, home environment, home cooking, physical activity, health, and creativity. I learned that as tough as it might be, it's important to be healthy in every area. She worked with me to identify troubled areas and made adjustments to maximize my health. I believe increasing mindfulness was the most helpful improvement I made. I achieved this decluttering my home environment, increasing my me time with relaxation and meditation, increasing exercise and paying closer attention to what I eat. I have not implemented all of the tools that she introduced, but the ones I have implemented have made a big difference. And what's really good is that I can go back and review the take aways from each session when I'm ready to and add more tools to my wellness arsenal as I see fit. It was a great experience.
