I declined having them all replaced & I got a second opinion from a VW garage, and they told me the tyres were fine & nothing was wrong with them at all. They are unfailingly friendly and efficient…read more I used to use them for batteries, exhausts and tyres, but now I get brake pads and disks replaced there too. Usually you can just rock up, but it is worth giving them a ring to discuss what you need done. The lads there are all knowledgeable and happy to discuss alternatives (budget tyres vs. more expensive ones). They have a waiting room with an OK coffee machine and a TV, but it's just a five minute walk to the Old Town proper where one can get a coffee in a wide variety of cafes or pubs. There is a lot of competition for this kind of service in Stevenage. This probably keeps all the firms honest. I prefer to use Lincoln's because, as far as I know, it's a locally-owned and managed business.

I left a five star review. Today I needed two more quality tyres and clearly went back to where I was welcomed It just shows that a change of management can screw up any company. Abrupt, arrogant, uncooperative and didn't pay attention., He spent a lot of my time, on the phone speaking with others instead of getting on with my job. He blatantly refused to rotate my tyres, not his instruction he claimed, I ordered two tyres online and left a note - fit two new to rear rims then rotate with front tyres they had fitted 7 months previous. No chance and not even a conversation. Job not done its a great pity, a good company in Braintree, has been screwed where you and I, will not return business. Is that true ? - why then does Juist tyres sell these tyres with no restrictions as to where they can be fitter ? - Just Tyres they suggest are selling a dangerous product . Pirelli's own website recommend these tyres and a very good allround performance - so Pirelli don't know either that they are selling dangerous tyres -= -or is it the Just tyres dept manger ??
