I paid for services that never had action taken on. He did not listen to my requests or my concerns. The result of his counsel was detrimental for my future. I do not recommend him for divorce if you are a woman or if you are in a high conflict divorce because my experience is that he did not fight for my best interests. The staff is great. They had easy online access to any court orders that I needed to look through. It was easy to communicate with them. The business side of it was great. However, great communication is useless if they don't actually go through and do all of the things that you previously talked about. And you have to pay for every phone call, every email, and every communication you make.

I had a very disappointing experience with this representation. Instead of working to help me, I…read morefelt like my attorney was adding to my stress by poor communication, unnecessary delays, and critical errors such as neglecting to file a settlement after filing a continuance the day of court claiming that the other party had agreed to my terms. Then not responding to any follow-up emails. Later I found out that Mr. Kilgo and the opposing counsel have a close relationship and actually used to work together. This adds credence to the feeling throughout the ordeal that they were working together for their own interest rather than securing a safe permanent custody agreement.

First, they kept making mistakes on our documents, such as leaving the name of a previous client on them and listing incorrect dates and addresses. Second, her office staff NEVER ONCE returned any of my calls or emails. Third, despite my repeated requests, her staff failed to make sure I received a copy of the documentation indicating the settlement of the estate. I had to go to the courthouse and get that documentation myself! I don't believe I received the level of professional services that I paid for. The passing of my father was a difficult time for me and my family, and my experience with Ms. Poston and her staff made this time even more miserable for us. I sincerely regret having used Ms. Poston as my attorney. I wish I'd never heard of her.

Through a friend/conntact at our church we retained Ms . Poston to help us. At first we thought she was not very good at communications but we later realized that this whole thing was going to take much longer than we were expecting. We now realize that part of the Law process is playing waiting games with each other waiting for he other side to blink. Also we realized that if there wasn't anything new to tell us, there was no reason to call us so she didn't. But when the Law game was in play and there was reason to contact us we heard from her quite quickly. In the end, which was over two years, all our expenses were covered, she had reduced her fee to us and we received a settlement that was more that we ever expected. She played that Law Game well for us and She didn't blink! I would recommend her to anyone with a legal need.
