There are a many factors that were important to us when choosing the right agent. First, and highest priority for us, was an agent who was trust worthy. We needed someone who we knew would work for our best interests, even when we did not know they were. Stuart's character and integrity with small and large decisions was never-failing. He always told it how it was, but was also knowledgable and optimistic. In situations where my confidence was low, his guidance proved to be correct, and I am impressed by his experience, wisdom, intuition and intelligence. It is only in hindsight am I beginning to realize how well he steered us through this process. That's part of what makes him so great, he is not controlling nor over confident. We had the best experience looking for a house with Stuart as our realtor. We had, had a bad experience with a previous realtor when selling our house and had lost faith in the idea of realtors. Now trying to find a new house, we decided we could do it by ourselves. We quickly learned that in order to schedule any showings, we had to have a realtor, as we were hounded by them any time we were just trying to get the listing agent. As a first time home buyer, I went through many different steps to ensure my realtor would take care of me throughout the whole process, and boy did I nail it with Stuart. Stuart exceeded my expectations for a real estate agent. He sold our house in 3 days, above list price, and negotiated a back up plan if it had run into any issues. He also extended our stay after our house sold, so that we would not have to move out and move in on the same day, which would have been impossible with our work circumstances.
