When we moved to Niceville, our daughter had already had her braces on for a little over a year. Doctor Stubbs looked at our daughter's records and the equipment she had already and said that although it was not what they use in her office she would continue my daughter's care without changing any of the equipment. This was great news! The good news just kept coming! We were given an equipment credit, a fair adjustment on treatment time, the adjustment for what our insurance would still cover AND the monthly payment for treatment was just about half of what we had been paying at the previous practice! My daughter's treatment was completed within the time frame projected and I even received a refund check for what I had overpaid after insurance completed their part. Fast forward a few months and child #2 needs braces. Number 2 is an extremely nervous patient and my tummy was in knots! From the first day, he has come out of the office with a huge smile every time! Neither of my children have ever complained about any pain or discomfort save for the usual soreness after an adjustment. The people in the office are amazing and know each of the families by sight. We have received a multi-patient discount (more great news since I have one more little one to go). Dr. Stubbs and her staff are completely professional and know how to relate to the kids so very well. the office is fun, each child feels important and as a parent, I know that Dr. Stubbs is not just treating the position of my child's teeth but his/her complete dental/orthodontic care. I was very surprised at the other review currently posted here. It is in extreme contrast to the experience my family has had with Dr. Stubbs and her staff during the past 3+ years my children have been patients at her office. Two of our children have had braces with Dr. Stubbs. One has completed treatment and one is in braces now. We are extremely happy with the results. Dr. Stubbs and her staff are very competent and seem to be very knowledgeable on current techniques. She always listens to my concerns as a parent and addresses them accordingly. My son had a severe overgrowth of gum tissue (partially genetic, partially from the braces) and she recommended a procedure and a dentist to perform it. We took her recommendation after his braces were removed and his smile looks wonderful. My daughter is also in braces and things are going great. The staff is always willing to fit us in at convenient times and always allows us to walk in and get a wire trimmed if needed. The staff is awesome! The office is new, clean and modern with lots of entertainment for the kids while they are waiting (Xbox, tv with current movies playing and a play area for little ones).They have lots of fun contests for the kids and cool goodie bags. I honestly can't say enough good things about our experience and highly recommend Dr. Stubbs. I'll even be bringing in my youngest child soon for an evaluation. read more

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Stubbs and her entire staff. Both of my children are under Dr. Stubbs' care and we could not be more pleased. My oldest son had a pretty severe overbite that was corrected very quickly and he also had braces. His smile is just beautiful now!! I could not be more pleased with his treatment. My younger son has a bit more difficult case as he has some abnormalities with his teeth. He has completed Phase 1 and will begin Phase 2 as his permanent teeth come in. Dr. Stubbs has been phenomenal in walking us through the entire process. I have 100% faith in her and her abilities and care with my children. Dr. Stubbs and her staff are absolutely the best! My son has anxiety issues that make it difficult for him to go through certain experiences and with Dr. Stubbs he was able to complete the journey of having braces at an early age without any problems. He enjoyed going to her for treatment and loved all of her staff. My husband and I had braces in our younger years from different offices and Dr. Stubbs (and family) is a pleasure and a privilege to work with in comparison. Both our daughters have braces from Dr. Stubbs offices in Niceville and their teeth look great thus far. I have a niece who recently visited us from Ireland who had a mishap with her braces and Dr. Stubbs immediately fit her in and fixed the problem no questions asked. I find the previous negative review amusing to say the least, and unless Dr. Stubbs has an evil twin who practices ortho, I don't see how this story could be true. Dr. Stubbs and every single staff member are not only the most professional you will meet.. They go beyond that... Way beyond! Everything is top notch, state of the art and first class... My son just finished with his braces after 2 1/2 years due to spacing and a misaligned jaw. His smile looks so awesome and it appears that the jaw misalignment problem has been taken care of which otherwise would've required surgery later on in his life. My daughter has braces now due to spacing and some protrusion of her front teeth. She should be finished with her braces in the next few months as well. I'm looking forward to seeing her new smile! We were on vacation in the Destin area over the Independence day holiday, when a bracket came loose on my daughter's braces. I called another dentist and they said with the holiday and a full schedule they couldn't help. Discouraged, I called Stubbs, and was so surprised at how gracious and accommodating they were.
